  1. The NMU series is back on schedule in early January. Seems they figured out their conflict.
  2. https://www.uscho.com/2020/04/21/mens-d-i-college-hockey-conferences-making-plans-for-possible-shortened-season-in-2020-21/ I know this is very low on priority with everything that is going on...but man, it'd be a damn shame to kill the end of one season and the beginning (or most) of the next season. Especially as UND fans when the team showed so much potential for a title in 19/20 and again for 20/21 with everyone committed back. As I said, I know there are far more important problems to tackle first before we resume some sort of normal life...just makes me sad thinking about what could have been.
  3. That'd be most appreciated...I'd like to download the 2016 title game for sure. Thank you!
  4. I really wish that was on video somewhere. I remember that as well and also recall thinking about what a special forward he would end up being. I just remember him diving with his stick out-stretched and knocking the puck away while flying through the air. The Manitoba player had a huge headstart on him too.
  5. The theme of next season...Unfinished Business:
  6. Duncan’s NHL caliber wrist shot had something to do with it too.
  7. Man was Panzer good. So good at dishing that puck. Thank you for posting!!
  8. I wonder if he'll be able to convince the Omaha coach to shake hands at the end of a series? Or attend the coaches luncheon?
  9. Shepard was voted on that due to his career. For him, he had a pretty underwhelming senior season and there were other West goalies more deserving of that 2nd team goalie spot. As for Cates and Koepke, they had good seasons, but both All-American? That makes no sense at all and I would bet money that neither sniff an All-American award next season. For forwards from the West, I’d take Wilkie (CC), Petterson (DU), Green (Miami), etc etc over either of them and that’s just players from the NCHC.
  10. That’s just the norm with Duluth fans and their Twitter accounts though, so nothing new there.
  11. All that and they still weren't even the best team in their conference.
  12. Agreed. As has happened many times before, voters were swayed by the career instead of a season. Gooch is the only Hattrick member coming back for another shot at it.
  13. Absolutely huge news. This team will be loaded. Going to be a ton of departures after next season, so better make this upcoming one count.
  14. Yeah no doubt that could be a fun trip. Wonder how hard it is to get tickets at Lynah?
  15. I wouldn't feel bad for them if they finished in last place in the NCHC and missed the NCAA tourney for the next decade.
  16. Berry won the Spencer Penrose for Coach of the Year. Congrats to him! He actually tied with Schafer from Cornell.
  17. The phantom assists!
  18. It used to be on YT like a month ago and now all I can find is the highlights. With crappy music playing in the background.
  19. What is wrong with you? Why would you want to watch those games that ended in such heartbreak? I'd rather forget them. While you're at it, maybe we should also rewatch the 2008 "lacrosse" UNH game that ended in OT...or maybe the 2007 butt kicking at the hands of BC in the Denver F4...maybe the 2003 1-0 loss to Denver. The thread title is "Best Sioux Memories"...you must be one twisted fan if those are some of your best memories.
  20. So we're only losing JT early from this year's team?
  21. UMD junior forward Justin Richards has signed.
  22. That'd be kind of a slap in the face to Berry and Co after they signed the waiver to release him from the sitting period. "Hey coach, thanks for signing that...let me go and play next year for one of your big league rivals." Best of luck to him in the future, but that wouldn't sit right if he just ends up at another NCHC school next season.
