Man, that McAllister kid seemed to come out of nowhere. Two mediocre years in the BCHL/AJHL, then one monster year in the AJHL (139pts in 60 games). Now leading WMU in points as a freshman.

UND drops to #19 in the USCHO poll. To be honest, I'm surprised that they are still ranked at all.

Before the season, I would have thought this was definitely realistic for this stretch. Now, I'm not sure we'll be able to get there.

On the plus side, our PP keeps scoring. Need to find a way to get our 5x5 play much better though. And our defensive zone coverage. And our breakouts. And our etc etc....

Agreed. And last year's games between UND/DU at the REA were a lot closer than this past weekends. Friday night 3-1 UND win with an ENG. SOG were 23 each. Sat night 4-2 UND win with an ENG. SOG were 28-22 UND. This year's UND team has more areas to clean up than DU did last year at this point in the season.

Time to put up or shut up. Time to start to right the sinking ship or let it plummet deeper. This team has the talent...we've seen it in bursts.
