Yep, sure did! Awesome collection.

What are you using to post your messages DLap?

Looks like you have some issues there DLap2. Can't say I've seen that before. The current jersey set has grown on me a little, though could use some tweaks. I haven't done much in the way of concepts, other than a quick mock-up of what some others like to see. I really think we need to find a definitive wordmark to display. Schools like Maine, Notre Dame, Denver, and Boston College all I have wordmark identities that look great. You could literally spell whatever you want on the jersey, but if you use the same style font or design as any of those wordmarks, you're going to say "Hey, that looks like Maine (or whatever team). I don't mind a standard block style font, but there really isn't any sort of identity with it either. I think a revised version of the script wordmark from our 1950s greens might be a place to start. The women sort of did this on their Gemini jerseys, but the font still looks a little too 'structured' and generic for my tastes as well. This summer I'll maybe start a Concept page and start picking out ideas to start creating a new brand for our hockey team...just for fun. With a new nickname coming in a couple years, things are going to change pretty quickly again. We're a lot closer to new nickname/logos than what people are realizing. Also, I see virtually no chance at any changes being made for this upcoming year.

Yeah, I think he wore 5 in just 1999-2000, then switched to 24 his last three seasons.

Let's get this collection posted Tignutts! Shoot me an email at siouxjersey@gmail.com

I believe you are referring to Dirty's 2003-2007 Scott Foyt jersey. The letter styling on it is from the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons, but I believe was sold as a 2006-07 jersey when made available for auction. You can deduce that it was Scott's only green jersey for all four years, especially since he didn't play much.

Looks like future 3rd or 4th line grinder material...and I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way. Big kid, takes a bunch of penalty minutes (must be playing physical).

I doubt that there were very many recycled jerseys since the dawn of the Nike era at UND. That's not to say there haven't been recycled jerseys, because there have been. They're predominantly goalies and a few of the bench guys that see very, very little playing time. I doubt you'll ever see another recycled jersey so long as the market craves 'em like they do. There's a good example on my site under Ryan's collection. His #34 JP Lamoureux jersey was previously worn by Nate Ziegelmann (who wore #33). How did we know? A couple reasons. And, this is where it becomes tricky. You have to find the proof on the jersey that it was worn by someone else. In his example, you can see the old stitch marks from where the 3 was replaced by the 4. Also, you can see old stitch marks from where the Ziegelmann nameplate was. You either have to conclusively photo-match the jersey to prove it was worn by multiple players, or have evidence that you find by owning or seeing it up close and in person.

There is way less parity in bouncyball than hockey. Then, factor in women's bouncyball where parity is even more rare. If you saw an NCAA men's bouncyball tournament where there were 16 teams (the top 4 from each Regional any given year), you'd see something much closer to what we see in hockey. To expand on this, in the history of the NCAA Bouncyball Tournament, here's how the #1 seeds have fared against 2, 3, and 4 seeds. 1 vs 2 = 54.5% ( 36-30) 1 vs 3 = 59.4% (19-13) 1 vs 4 = 67.2% (43-21) Those numbers look very comparable to the hockey tournament to my naked eye.

Brandon's Jersey Page is now updated! A few other updates have already taken place: "JRoads" game-worn Sioux collection has been added. "Ryan" has added to his collection. And so has "Matt H".

Nope, second. I had purchased my 2006-07 Robbia Bina Frozen Swift a couple months before that.

Yeah, I remember back in early 2007 when the auctions were at the Ralph. The first home regular season weekend there was a white Genoway and a green Watkins used. I could have won the Genoway for $375, but instead bid on, and won, the Watkins for $400. At the time, Chay wasn't what he ended up becoming, and Watkins seemed to have a much brighter future, being an NHL draft pick and all.

Sorry, got a little busy the last couple days. I'll try and get it done late tonight. Sorry bud.

Nice find! You know where to send the pics. And Sioux-cia, when are you going to send over your collection?

It sounds like this Bradley-Doppes lady is running the show like the chick who owns the Cleveland Indians in the movie Major League.

Sounds like a deal. As my late golf coach used to say, "No rush, hurry up!"

He wore 8. There were the normal white, green, and black dazzles (counting both seasons, that's 6). Then they wore that green Nike throwback for the Hall of Fame game on October 4, 2003, and then the Military Night (replica style with patches) against the US U-18 Team on December 5, 2003. So, two of those are one-game-wonders. When you going to let me post your collection?? fargosioux has one of the nicest game-worn collections out there.

I agree. I'd even say 12k is on the low side. Toews' Blackhawks gamers go for 4-5k typically and those are a dime a dozen. There are only 7 game-worn Toews Sioux jerseys...one of which he only wore one game. Then, I believe he has one in his own "collection" which leaves 5 true Toews gamers on the market. In one single 82 game season in the NHL (not even counting playoffs where they get even more new jerseys) he'll wear 6 sweaters alone (and that doesn't count any alternates).

Except for the one still coming.

And Duncan put in 31 to Bjugstad's 21.

I think we're going to catch a break next year. A lot of teams in the NCHC are poised to take a step back next year talent-wise (including us). Fortunately our step back coincides with many other teams (except Miami).
