Farce copied my first team that I posted on March 5th!
-
Which is scary considering we only scored 3 goals against them this whole weekend.
-
Yeah, they'll flip it. I think they will with CC as well. If they lose that 10th game, we'll win the advantage there...as long as we don't lose any more as well. However, if our win percentage drops anymore than it is now, Miami would be able to lose their 10th TUC game and still get the point over us. Not much we can do about it other than just win, but kind of sucks if we were to lose again.

Josh Lunden did awesome for Anchorage this year. Didn't put up gaudy numbers, but who can when you have the worst conference team surrounding you. He was a threat every time he touched the puck in my opinion.
-
He's got an Avalanche now, don't worry.
-
I think that's his little bro Taylor...he's good at that stuff. Could be TJ tho too I imagine.
-
Yeah, what was the project?
-
You're a year too late with Prpich, hehe. Last year was Porter, Fabian, and Hobey Baker Candidate Scott Foyt.

Goon is making up stories again.

I don't think many people are going to get into Senior cheers knowing that we have home playoffs coming next week.
-
3-2 ...the fat people win. It will be a wake up call for the run here on thru Denver.
-
It's getting old.
-
If they play another TUC, they'll jump ahead of us.
-
Two fun facts on our season: -No team swept us in the regular season this year -The only team we didn't beat on our schedule this year was BC in the 0-0 tie in the "Fog Game"
-
That was a mean comment.

I'm actually excited in a way to see what Aaron does, but I'll never get over Favre being gone.
-
I'm ready to go....it's been a long week.

I think Camp Randall holds about 81,000 or so if I remember right. I'm not sure if the Badgers would be up for another one already seeing as they were just at Lambeau against Ohio State in the 2005-06 season (I think it was in November). Good turnout, looked like fun.

No, you can't read it either way. The proper way to read it is by breaking it down to two separate sentences. 1) He joined a program that has 11 draft picks. Then, they add the ", and" making the second sentence... 2) He has reached the last two Frozen Fours. 2 + 3 = 5 or is it 2 + 3 = 6? You can look at it either way I guess.

No it didn't...it referred to Joe being to back-to-back, not the Sioux. Joe didn't play in the first of our three-peat going on.
-
Yeah, but it's so hard to read into the ratings. 1) It's on New Years, so pretty much the whole country has off of work. That means there are so many more people that CAN watch. 2) There are so few games on any mainstream channel to say that ratings wouldn't have been the same if they were playing inside. 3) How can you say anyone that watched wasn't a hockey fan already....or if they weren't, became one after? The ratings can't tell you any of that. Just because a game was the highest rated hockey game in a decade doesn't mean it was even that highly rated. The ratings could have been horrible, but were just good enough to be the best in the last ten years. I think getting a channel like ESPN or the likes of an ABC, CBS, Fox or NBC to show games on a regular basis will help more than a once a year gimmick. One game isn't going to fix the problem. NBC already shows a few, but not enough to get a consistent audience or enough to grow the game.

Does that mean your other alias is Captain Obvious?

Osh is going to be more gone at the end of the season than Brett is right now....whether we like it or not.
-
I did like the idea at first. In fact, I may have been on the side of liking it also...but... It really doesn't do anything. I don't think it really adds any fans to the game. The only ones that really enjoy these games are people who are already fans of hockey. After watching Hockey day in Minnesota with the HS games outdoors, it seemed like wasted energy to me. It didn't look fun for the players or fans at the game....it was just something that they could talk about on tv. There really isn't anything to gain by having this...just the fans like you AZ who like watching it b/c that's what you did as a kid, was play outdoors....but anyone who played outdoors who is intrigued by this already is a fan of hockey. For all the work involved, I just don't think there's enough to gain.

I think outdoor games are really overrated. I don't think they are anymore interesting than an indoor game. You still have 6 guys on a team on the ice and are trying to get a puck in the other teams net. Then one team is forced to play into the wind twice and is at a disadvantage, etc. Outdoor games are a gimmick.
