  1. Holy who?
  2. I agree with most of what you said except Malone. Brad isn't putting up a ton of points, but he's there for the defensive aspect of a forwards job and that's why he never sits out. For a freshman, Brad has done plenty to help the team. Zajac and Miller need to start producing.
  3. I didn't say he was a Toews or Parise, nor do I think he is NHL ready yet. I'm just saying, never rule out a kid wanting to play AHL because he DOES get paid to play in the minors. Chris has all the tools to become an NHLer, and if Edmonton pushes hard enough, they may get him to sign. At an NHL perspective, Chris VandeVelde is more ready to leave than Ryan Duncan is. Who thought a guy like Brian Lee was ready to leave? Yes, Brian was a higher draft pick...but he wasn't any more ready to play AHL than VV is right now. I'm not saying Chris is going to leave, I'm just saying don't count him out for leaving.
  4. Ooooooooooh Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge.
  5. UND caused it somehow. Damn goons at UND.
  6. 2-0 Miami...I think the second goal will be under review...maybe not. 3rd period.
  7. You are correct, my bad.
  8. The Sioux are a fighting team with a hockey problem.
  9. PP Goal Miami Miami 1 Western Michigan 0
  10. Yeah, can't wait to watch the Michigan game...got it recording while I'm at work.
  11. http://www.supertalkfm965.com/ That's the link for the Miami game's radio feed. 0-0 just about the end of the first yet.
  12. I'm mean, you're either on my side or you're not!
  13. The hardest thing is when you get all the people who just HAVE to wear their black or green jersey because they CAN'T not wear it for ONE game because they HAVE to wear a jersey... Seriously, wear a sioux t-shirt for just one game. It's not that hard, and no one cares if you are wearing a jersey or not.
  14. I think there's as big of a chance that VV leaves as Duncan, if not bigger.
  15. I predict a: The Scalpers vs. Knocked Up Sioux Fan finale next week.
  16. Speaking of watching things on tv...is the WI @ MN game tonight on tv anywhere? I know the Saturday game is (including on CSTV), but saw that a baseball game is being televised (not sure why..?).
  17. I won't be late for class for another minute yet!
  18. Starting Aaron is the right thing to do. If we lost with him, big deal...Phil has lost plenty of games in his career. Yeah, our Pairwise would take a hit, but we're still going to make the playoffs, and like AZSioux said in the Bracketology thread, either way you have to beat 2 good teams to make the Frozen Four. So, in the long run, starting Aaron is the right thing to do. He's put in his time. Like dagies said, if JPL got hurt, to have a goalie that never made a start (or even play this season) would be scary to watch, plus Aaron would have to go in cold. If he knows he'll get a start, he can mentally prepare and do the things it takes to get ready to be the starting goalie. If we were to win, and win convincingly, with Aaron as our starting goalie for a game, that will do wonders for the confidence of a team.
  19. Who are you and how do you know my name?
  20. No, I was right next to your girl actually.
  21. 11th actually....good guess though.
  22. Sweet, I'm in that pic, hehe
  23. Aaron deserves at least one start throughout the course of a season. I don't care how much better Phil is, if he actually is that much better. Even if we lose the game, it's not what matters. You have to give the kid a chance when he puts in all this work just to make his teammates better. I hope Aaron gives Brad a run for the starting job next year. For all the locals, Aaron is actually originally from Grand Forks...another reason to like him that much more!
  24. I tried to use the old adage of "less is more"
