That's funny on the Hrkac name, haha. I always call Hobey "buddy" also, since he's nothing but that. I'm pretty sure I got tickets locked up, but until I have them in hand, I can't say for sure that I have any. I know how things can change pretty quickly.

4-3 Miami...here come the Buckeyes

I think a win tomorrow will keep them in, but it's not looking good at the mo'.

OSU making a game of it...3-1 Miami still

Didn't click on the Game Trackers since I'm at work and the wireless is pretty slow, but: Michigan 2 Ferris State 2 Miami 3 OSU 0

Let's say the Spirit Lake tribe allows every member to vote...and let's say they approve. Could we be The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux of Spirit Lake? Of course no one would ever add on that latter part when talking about the Fighting Sioux, it would just be a formality.

JP is now 2nd on INCH's Hobey Tracker, behind Porter and ahead of Gerbe. Nodl is a hidden Hobey and Bachman is in the Bull Market. My Hobey prediction as of right now will be: Porter Lamoureux Bachman

Hey everyone. Last year I ordered some 2006 Frozen Four patches. I have a few extras. They look great on any Sioux jersey and it's a great way to make your jersey look unique. They iron-on, and if you want them to be even more durable you can stitch them on. Patches look great. I'm selling them for basically what I paid for them plus shipping...not trying to make money. $12.50 shipped Let me know if you are interested. I prefer PayPal, but if you want to pay another way let me know. Sioux played Boston College in the first round and lost. Wisconsin beat Maine to go to the championship and beat BC to win it all. CLICK HERE FOR 2005-06 ROSTER Players included TJ Oshie, Jonathan Toews, Ryan Duncan, Drew Stafford, Jordan Parise, Travis Zajac, Taylor Chorney, Matt Smaby, Mike Prpich and others! One of the best UND teams top-to-bottom ever. Thanks for looking

Both guys have unbelievable work ethics, which is why they are as good as they are. I think JT made it look so smooth and easy that it would come off as being just a natural and wouldn't need to work that hard to do it. JT is an unbelievable learner in everything though, as long as he puts his mind to it. Osh is the same way, but like siouxtatoo42 said, TJ is more in-your-face and loves the contact/physical part of the game.

Right, and since we don't know how legit they are, we gotta assume they are the real deal like the rankings say. They can score, but their defense is shakier than what everyone says...same thing with Michigan. Michigan is overall just a better team.
-
They beat virtually everyone they are supposed to though, with FSU being an exception. They aren't the strongest team, but to say they are not a legitimate title contender is wrong I think.
-
On ESPN2, scrolling along the bottom, they list the NHL games on for tonight...they made a mention of the Blackhawks record with and without Toews, which I thought was a nice mention.
-
I HATE thundersticks. They should be for crowds that can't make enough self-generated noise....wait, that's most of the Ralph is.
-
That's the same thing I thought! Great minds think alike I guess.

I'm sorry for offending people. Some people, like myself, hang out with many girls who laugh about stuff like this and joke around about it and don't care if people mention it or poke a little fun at it. They don't get bent out of shape about it, they just accept it. In my opinion, life would suck if you can't laugh off things like this, because really, everyone knows that it happens, no one thinks is wrong that it happens....it just happens, get over it.

In the current USCHO bracket, I predict BC, DU, and UNH to make it....not sure about the other regional. BC has the post-season experience. DU has more scoring potential, I think, with a veteran goalie. UNH is just all-around good. CCHA has too weak of defense all-around except for MSU, and MSU can't beat UNH I don't think. Miami and Michigan have to be able to stop a good team from scoring, and after watching all the games they've played recently on CSTV and whatnot, I don't see any strong defensive presences...besides the Spartans. But, even the Spartans need work defensively and Lerg NEEDS to be on. Just don't see them beating UNH.

Whatever

I don't know what the big deal is....every woman goes through it and everyone knows it, so it's not like he was poking fun at a select group of people with a disability. It was a lighthearted joke.

Whoa whoa whoa, let's hit the brakes for a second. I didn't say they should try to lose, that's pretty obvious, so let's throw that out. Second, I didn't say it's a good thing to lose, I just suggested that it might not be a bad thing with reasons why not. If they are already completely focused, 100%, etc., etc...great. If not, well, what's the best way to get a team performing at its peak? I think that just b/c we have an unbeaten streak this long doesn't necessarily mean we are playing our best hockey. We still take shifts off and for lengths of time look slower and less intense than the other team.

They do it so they can look even worse when they lose. Gophers wrote the book on that one.
