Games like tonight are horrible to go to. Wisconsin is filled with those "old codgers" that have been going to games just as long, yet their whole arena sounds like a student section. There's no need to try and justify it, because it's just the flat-out truth that their old codgers don't act like they're going to die in the coming weeks. There's plenty of people who aren't "old codgers" that could very well make up for the lack of energy, but fail to do so as well.

I thought Lee was better than everyone gave him credit for. He made a few mistakes, but everyone does. Genoway makes more mistakes than anyone, in my opinion, but since he makes up for it with some great plays, people love him.

No one gave him a chance to develop. People assume freshman defensemen are going to come in and tear it up just because they are 1st round draft picks. Not gonna happen. I wish Nick Mattson the best of luck coming here....he's the next "Brian Lee" I have a feeling.

I wouldn't say that at all....Wisconsin fans are as dedicated and loyal as they come and care as much about the game as any of the nursing home residents that attend the Ralph each weekend.

It was nice to see him standing on his own with a cast in the tunnel after the game. Hope all turns out better than it looked. Derrick is the man (he's from Wisconsin! How can he not be???)

Man, I hope I don't jinx anything, but here goes.... Minnesota has had a few "losing streaks" in history. Here are the longest... 1) 9 game losing streak in 1997 2) 4 game losing streak in 2000 (did it twice) 3) 4 game losing streak until tonight So, if memory serves me correctly, and I'm pretty sure it does , each year the Gophers have a four game losing streak or longer, the Sioux took home some April hardware...

Watching the replay of the UM/UAA game, Woog made a pretty sharp comment. With less than 2 minutes gone in the first, Christianson (goalie, UAA) made a great save and Woog said it was a game-saver.....and that it was!

Replica's are made for the masses. Most people don't want to pay a premium for a jersey. A lot of quality aspects of a replica have to be cut out in order to keep costs down. A jersey doesn't make a fan, so wear it with pride and cheer as loud as you can!

I think Chay was a little forceful for the first half of the game. He tries to force too much from the point, and when they get blocked, it can easily turn into an odd-man rush the other way (see 2008 Frozen Four). C'mon CC...

Last year I would have agreed with you at wanting another run at them. I'm not going to lie. I want to stay far, far away from BC in the playoffs for at least 10 years.
