I've never listened to radio online before, is there anything available in that respect? I didn't see a link for it on fightingsioux.com (yet). Thanks...sorry I'm an idiot, haha.

I'm at home in WI right now and will be until the 30th. I actually wanted to go to the GLI since it's only a 7 hr drive or so, but we keep getting piled on with snow and I'd hate to have to drive there or back in any poor driving conditions. So, is there any way I can pick up the game here in WI? Bob, how do you watch?

The only thing might be academics. I know that's why Riley Nash chose Cornell over us (moreso than being with his brother). He wanted to have a backup plan if anything ever went wrong with his career.

That's a no-brainer if it were up to me.

Near Tragedy Avoided For YaneA During Storm
Big A HG replied to JESUS,family, rutgers's topic in Men's Hockey
I have a dog, Hobey (not Hobey Baker, just Hobey, but it's where I got it from ), and he doesn't touch anything that isn't his. It's really surprising to be honest. I always expect the worst out of dogs, but I got lucky with him. Glad your dog is ok, I'd be devastated if anything happened to my little guy. -
Applied Calc 146. 5:30 with Halcrow

At forward, #29, out of Moorhead, Minnesota, Christopher Vande Velde.

I had a final tonight and it wasn't terrible since the wind wasn't blowing, but it was still plenty cold. I always lose my gloves at the wrong time. Luckily I lost one glove from two different pairs to make one pair!!! That should have been enough math to pass my Calc final, but doubt if it was.

I wouldn't want to hug you either

Is that the upper midwest way of pronouncing rut?

Not to me...a couple years ago I would say that, but I haven't seen him much this year. The only other weekend I can think of him reffing is against Duluth(?).

Derrick has really stepped up his game. Sioux defensemen take time to develop so it's been sad to see so much negativity against him without getting any time to develop. I really like how confident he's been playing as of late. Finley is a good example. Look how much we've missed him since he has left. Derrick will only get better, so I hope people can reverse their thinking of him.

Shepherd isn't even close to being bad compared to Hunt. Marco is just bad, period.

My ranking of best Sioux performances tonight! 1) Ryan Martens!!! 2) Derrick LaPoint 3) Brad Malone 4) Darcy Zajac YaneA mentioned Kozek couldn't buy a goal....he could barely buy a SHOT on goal. He missed completely on some good scoring chances more than his fair share of times. I love Kozy, but man, he was off. Marto got burned more than once. Eidsness had a good statistical performance, but was pretty sloppy with rebounds and was caught out of position too many times. Eids is the man, and I have no worries with him and think he's our guy from here on out for sure, but it wasn't his best night tonight. Malone was great tonight. Hustled a lot and started to show how phsyical he can, and should, be. His positioning was very good as well. The team defense was really good tonight. St. Cloud can put up goals as good as anyone and we shut them out for most of the game. The guys that all stepped up tonight are the guys that we will need to make a serious run this year. This is going to take a total team effort, so it's nice that these guys got the job done on a night where some of our main guys didn't have that scoring touch. Let's get another sweep tomorrow and get above .500!

That'll be lucky to get you a beer at any joint in that place. On a side note, I found a spider in my food at L'Bistro, and heard it's not an uncommon occurance at that place according to a guy I know that works there. NASTY

Joe still has his sense of humor as of today.

I wouldn't be surprised if they calculated this based on me, haha. I have a test in 2 hours I haven't studied for and a test tomorrow at 11am I haven't studied for.

Depending on the weekend, I usually have to work in the morning following Friday night Sioux games, especially during holiday season, so I'll go home and rewatch the game on my DVR. You're welcome to join!

It's not supposed to get you pumped up in a way where you go and bite the head off a bat or something. It IS supposed to get you pumped up in a way where deep down, your heart is racing, knowing that legends have played for this team, that hockey is about passion, and love, and dedication. It's a "get focused" type pump you up. If you listen to the lyrics, it fits the video very well. I guess it's hard to describe, but I love watching that sort of thing instead of the same old songs that every arena in the country plays. How many times is Crazy Train, Guns and Roses, or Metallica going to play before it simply gets old. They are great, but can be used at other times. Personally, I like the video.

Toew's first goal tonight was ridiculous. It had glimpses of his dangler last year in it. You have to see it... Either way, it's blasphemous that it wasn't even a top 10 play tonight on ESPN. A quote from the announcer..."HE MADE THEM LOOK SILLY!" I don't have a direct link, but if you go to chicagoblackhawks.com, they'll have a link you can follow to see it. I don't know how he hasn't scored more than he has up to this point. It looks as if he's starting to turn it around though.

Any game updates for tonights match?
-
Someone had to do it... Maybe if we get another 10-1 win tomorrow I'll get rid of it. Knowing the Sioux this year we'd be on the losing end of a 10-1 tomorrow, haha.

*****BREAKING NEWS****** The Sioux flight was canceled due to poor flight conditions. The Boston Bruins who had an off night tonight are wearing our uni's, which were overnight shipped for this weekends games.

Sounds good. Seems like a grinder based on his size/stats. Hopefully his skill will continue to increase and be a great overall addition to the team.

I'm glad you agree, but you can't discount Duncan. The problem with Duncan though is that he can't create much on his own during 5 on 5. When that's the case you need players to move the puck around efficiently to give Duncan a chance to get open. Then, add the fact that teams are focusing on Duncan and it's hard for him to produce. It's actually great that he has as many points as he does and shows how good Duncan really is. But, imagine how much better a line could be if you had a couple guys who can get him the puck in an open space.
