This is a very mediocre Sioux team....I root for the Sioux as much as anyone but there qill be no sudden flip of the switch in the 2nd half this year. This team is missing the top talent teams in the past have had. There is noa a go to guy ala a Parise, Toews, Osh, Panzer and on and on like we have had in the past. Duncan is a good player but depends on others to get his shot off and there is not enough talent on his line to allow him to get space.

Yeah well that is stupid...rumor has it that is how Gaborik got the so called lower body injury he has been out with all year.

This team does not have the so called "difference makers"...our main guys Kozek and Duncan depend on a top center to get them the puck and VV does not fit that bill. He is a checking line player who should be on a line with Watkins and whoever. i was in Duluth this weekend and that was pretty obvious.

Agreed...but let's face it. The whole stale atmosphere has become quite boring. Especially the piped in music....When I heard the "everybody clap your hands" bit last Sat at the Ralph I almost puked. That has no place at a Sioux hockey game.

As all us die hard Fighting Sioux fans know...this team has a long ways to go. If we can slip into the top five, that looks like where things are headed. Props to Eidsness he played well. No doubt he is the starter.

I expected a lot more from LaPoint this year. He is off to a rough start. Same with Marto. We really are missing Finley. Eidsness has been solid tonight.

LaPoint is a -10 with no points and Marto is a -8....that goes a long way to explain part of our problems.

I saw Fienhage between periods while waiting for the restroom of the Fri night game. He had a big chew in his mouth so it was hard to understand him...but when i said what the heck is wrong with the team his response was we always seem to split series'....

Man too bad with Big Joe and those concussion symptoms. He may be out longer than any of us think. I would like to predict a sweep but it is a rare bird when the Sioux sweep anyone at home the last few years. So I am calling a split.

Yeah I hear ya Goon...but i am talking in the grand scheme of things. I like the state of North Dakota but I am just saying Alaska is an unbelievable act of nature. The only thing that compares is Yellowstone National Park in the lower 48.
