I was at the game and it seemed like the Sioux were playing dump and chase way too much instead of attacking the St. Cloud zone with speed. We would dump the puck and try to set up a forecheck but were not able to create many quality opportunities doing that. The team just seemed a step slow. Weslosky was always in position and though he made 30 some saves there is not one I can recall that was point blank where a Sioux player was robbed. St Cloud is going to be hungry so we better match that intensity as we cannot afford another loss tonight. Blood is still very raw, understandably as he has not played much. I am sure Jones will be back in tonight. I also do not like Malone as a center, he is better suited as a grinding winger. He is not suited to set up Kozek.

Sioux really need 4 points. i know it will be tough but the pairwise situation scares me. I will be making my first trip to the NHC for tonights game looking forward to it! Heading up from the cities in an hour or so to beat the traffic out of town. I will say 5-3 Sioux tonight and 4-3 Sioux tomorrow night. Let's keep this snowball rolling!

Genoway is great but I do not see him or Vandy getting a contract offer. Genoway=Duncan as far as pro scouts....Edmonton will be in no hurry to sign Vandy. Might be the first time in a long time where there are 0 early departures.

You would think with first place on the line the team would have come out with a little more intensity. Unfortunately under Hak we can't seem to win the big game.

Sioux were VERY fortunate to get a point tonight. It just felt like from the 3rd period on the Sioux were hanging on. DU has to be disappointed with the tie where as the Sioux have to be happy with the tie.
