I'm sorry, but I don't understand this officiating. Last night, the Sioux were a bunch of hacks who couldn't stay out of the box. Tonight, the Pioneers are a bunch of hacks who can't stay out of the box. Did it get too difficult to keep track of the marbles in the pocket?

I'm not worried about what the NCAA thinks of the name. I'm more worried about linking "Imperials" with the Engelstad name, given his past problems. On the plus side, we'd be called the Imps and we could use Calvin the comic character for our logo.

Imperialism does carry something of a negative connotation.

Don't look now, but Northeastern is currently at the top of Hockey East. There's a chance that UND's win at Northeastern will prove significant in the pairwise rankings. I watched the webcast of the UND-Northeatern game. Trust me. Without Lamoureux's play, the Sioux could have been down 3-0 before they ever scored a goal. And we know how well this team plays from behind.

I would classify UND's 3-0 win at Northeastern as a game Phil stole. He also played exceptionally well in the fog game against BC. Otherwise, that could easily have gone down as a loss. What bothers me the most is that Hak's teams are 0-23 when trailing after two periods. They haven't come back to win a game since mid-February of 2006 at UAA. That's no coincidence. It's a very troubling trend and goes staight to Sicatoka's point about the lack urgency.
