  1. Have they released an update roster for the Scrimmage today?
  2. It will be interesting to see how these new businesses on campus changes things.
  3. Minneapolis’ Surly Brewing announces taproom and pizzeria in Grand Forks Surly is expanding its footprint to the UND campus in partnership with Short or Tall Eatery & Drink Hall of Rogers, which is also opening a second location that will adjoin the Surly space. Both of the beer-heavy eateries will be located at the foot of a new five-story residential complex in Grand Forks called Memorial Village, across from the school’s Memorial Stadium along N. Columbia Road. https://www.startribune.com/surly-brewing-expanding-minneapolis-grand-forks-und-craft-beer/601339190
  4. That injury looked tough. I am sure he had to put in alot of work to get back on the field.
  5. In addition to the updated interchange. The golf course is going to get a major redesign. Number 1 - no change Number 2 - par 5 - is going to be two holes. 1) par 4 (old tee box/new green) 3) par 3 (new tee box/slight modes on old green). Number 3 - no change Number 4 - new tee box/new green still par 3 Number 5 - new tee box Number 6 - new green - shorten to a par 4 Number 7 - gone Number 8 - reworked new tee box/new hreen still par 3 Number 9 - no change. Previously was a par 36 (2-5/2-3) New course looks like a par 33 (no par 5s, and 3 par 3s - rest all par 4s)
  6. NCHC TV is a subscription service. X% of the subscription goes to the conference and the rest goes to the schools. I don't think ESPN+ access pays the schools or conference.
  7. Serious question, how much money is there for Track and Field and throwing events? This in no way is meant to dismiss his season. A T/F meet is one of my favorite events to attend. Howard Wood in Sioux Falls is one my favorites.
  8. I could see your point if sports paid for themselves. I think UND athletics department runs on apprimately 50% schools funds (and this does not count the $100s M in capital inverstment). Right now you have the foundation of the old system (scholarship/education) propping up the new (NIL/Transfer Portal) system. No doubt the P4's will always survive due to TV money. I don't know about the long term for the rest. I can see more and more sports being cut and do you see the public/private support for facilites at lower level in 10/20 yrs?
  9. One channel for all games.
  10. Keep up the good work!!
  11. Fact Check: True
  12. Dale Lennon DII UND to FCS SIU, Hak going Pro.. other than that: Oh, I forgot Kalen Deboer UND to Alabama.. oh no that was Bubba - nope, Jones - nope, Volleyball coaches nope, W. Basketball nope... My gosh that is bad.. Well, here are the AD's on field accomplishments per his resume since 2018. "the Fighting Hawks capture a conference football title in their first year in the MVFC as well as the men’s basketball and women’s tennis programs reaching the Summit League title games in 2020 and 2023, respectively." It is sim pickings..
  13. The Utah Valley comment is interesting. Was that in the newsletter he released today? I really don't see what Utah Valley brings and I really don't see what SUU and Utah Tech bring. So, the value is in numbers.. which means schools are leaving.
  14. Is the B-1 wing moving to GF AFB?
  15. It all comes down to Next Sunday.

    2026 Recruiting

Wow, impressive group of recruits so far..
  17. Wow a point guard - happy day. Will he be on campus this summer?
  18. Yes I did, and I don't view either of them as secondary options.
  19. What? I like King but I don't think he should be at the point and Thomas looked overmatched.
  20. Not much to cheer about when they would continually pass the puck to W. Michigan.
  21. I hate to hear about injuries ending a career. I wish him all best and hope that he is staying in school
  22. I believe that it was a City/School/Donor project. It looks like it was a great project and I truly hope all parities get to use the facility.
  23. This set the bar for the Mountain West and Pac 2. I not sure how the Sun Belt, MAC and CUSA will respond. This looks like $3.3 million per year. As a comparison, UND spend approximately $1 million annually on Alston Awards. So, I am not what to think of this - is this too low or about right and can all G6 schools compete. https://sports.yahoo.com/college-footbal...55382.html As part of this “Minimum Investment Program,” schools must share with athletes at least $10 million in cumulative additional benefits over a three-year period, starting with the 2025-26 academic year. Schools can reach the required $10 million figure through a combination of benefits now available to them through the settlement of the House antitrust lawsuit. Schools can include as additional benefits (1) up to $2.5 million in new scholarships and (2) direct revenue they share with athletes, as well as (3) up to $2.5 million in Alston payments — a stipend that some schools have been distributing to their athletes.
  24. I would say three needs: Point, Shooting Guard and Center.
