Sorry punk. Wrong again. Since UND won the 2001 National Championship all the coaches from the local area colleges have had to wait in line behind UND for the athletes they are going after. Even a D-1 school has to wait......I mean 1aa. That so far has played a team that the North Dakota School for the Deaf and Blind would hang 50 on.

True, there was a Vito Perrone Sr. He move on along with his family to beome dean of students at Harvard. Vito Jr. was on the football team I think 76' or 77. He might have been a wrestler for the Sioux as well since Vito Sr. was an All-American at Michigan.

From what I've heard yes the defense will be absolutely incredible. I think the 3 of the 5 starters are back on the offensive line. THe whole offensive backfield is back which is very deep now. They lost 2 key wide receivers but still have a great group returning. I think they will be just fine on offense. Chris Mussman is a great offensive coordinator. Look for some new twists and turns this year. I will still stick with my earlier prediction that the Sioux will win the national title. They have the best coach who is committed to the program and thier defense will be un-movable. The offense is still the the only real question. It will be a fun season!

It might compete with the bisssssson/Montana Tech Diggers NAIA clash this year that I am sure will create ripples throughout the country when the Diggers beat the bisssssson. All bissssson fans go away. Nobody cares about you.

I am going to make an early season prediction here. The Sioux will be back in the National Championship game.......and will win it this time. They are going to have a nasty, nasty defense, as usual! I was at the 1987 champioship game when the Sioux shoved it up Michigan State's hind end. THere were about 15,000 MSU fans there and about 2,000 SIoux fans there and the Sioux fans were louder. This of course leading to Ron Mason never being able to beat the Sioux. 0-13!!!!!! Too bad.

I agree he wasn't a traitor just a pr***k. I'll never forget when he and Taffe were shooting pucks into the Sioux fans intentionally trying to hurt people during their warm-ups of the opening game of the Ralph. What a couple of losers.

Don't worry my fellow Sioux fan, there is alot of hockey to be played. My prediction is that at the end of the year in April the Sioux will be hoisting #8! They looked awesome saturday night and desrved to win. If anyone doesn't think that the Sioux won't be ready come NCAA time....just wait. THe feeling I am getting is that the Sioux are extremely pissed they lost that game and it won't happen again....period. They want it and want it bad. I just hope they meet the gerbils again. Especially cheap shot artist Vanek. Vanek broke the old Gopher record of whimps backing down to Sioux players. (the previous record of Westrum the Weasel backing down to Mike Commodore). Vanek has backed down to Matt Greene more times than Democrat in an argument with a Republican. I can't wait to meet them again. The Sioux will prevail!

It'll UND, Minnesota, BC and Maine. UND over Minnesota. BC over Maine. UND 3-1 over BC. UND played great against MN. IF wasn't for us giveing the puck to them we would have won. I really think UND is clicking on all cylinders now. No way will UND lose the Minnesota punks again. No way. UND to win number 8! GO SIOUX!

One other point. If Fargo didn't have so damn many hockey organizations and had them all under one roof so to speak like Moorhead....Fargo would be awfully tough to beat. Too many hockey parent egos are getting in the way.

Fargo Flyers just won state. The Flyers have a ton of talent coming up through the ranks right now. Their JV team beat the Moorhead JV team recently and that Moorhead team hadn't lost in 3 years.

Tanabe was born in Grand Forks. His dad still has his dentist practice I think on Columbia Road.

I hope those Moorhead kids bring it home. They totally dominated Elk River last night except on the scoreboard. Lee is awesome! I really like that Becker kid. Anyone know if he has interest in UND?

Like I said earlier in a post it was lively in their and Blais was relly in a good mood laughing and joking. He seems pretty positive about the near future for what holds.
