Let's be honest about Bollinger. If he's hired, it is not because he's a proven recruiter, or because he's proven his offenses can win college football games. It's because Faison has faith that he CAN prove it in the FUTURE (not too distant we hope) at UND. If that's the direction he wants to go, I can't argue with it. He already went with the safe route (I know he didn't hire Muss but he extended him so save your breath) and that didn't work out. Taking a bit more of a risk is unlikely to be worse.

Hardee IS UND volleyball. To say the program was a joke before him doesn't do it justice.

The jacks may be able to hold ewu below their season average for scoring by limiting possessions, but even that will still require Sumner to make plays for the jacks to win. Ewu will do to them what the huskers did. Zenner will get yards, but they will be playing from behind which will put it in Sumner's hands. Here's the jacks' problem; Sumner isn't good enough to make enough of those plays Sumner will throw it to the other team Both of these things will result in the jacks losing, but turning in a respectable showing.

SDSU opens as 6 point road favorites over NAU. I was leaning SDSU here, but being a home dog in a playoff game is tempting me to go NAU.

Not sure about that, but he's been on various wish lists for local talent. The article says he'e being projected at WR or Safety. I sure would have liked to have seen him in the UND secondary.
