The game is really fast for those players right now. It will slow down and get easier with more experience. That is a tough place to put a couple of freshman in this early in their careers. Hope for the best but it is understandable.

I'm with Ira. As I posted earlier in this thread I don't think Joe played poorly. He had 5 incompletions and if we catch a couple of balls we could have and we get a PI that wasn't called he is all of a sudden 4 for 6 and everybody is happy. He had a bad throw where he got hit as he released the ball. There was one poor throw in Q2 but that was the only one I would put on him.

I'm sure I will get roasted for this but was at the game and didn't think Mollberg was bad. I know the stats say otherwise but I thought he was ok. One incompletion should have been PI, at least 1 was dropped and another he got ht in ribs as he released it and it went way high. A couple of times he threw really early because of pressure. He did have 1 bad throw where he overthrew a receiver that was wide open I qtr 2 I think it was

I predict that I will have about 6 beers, 2 brats, 4 wings and a lot of other food tailgating before the game.

I thought Idowu had a good game. 6th on team in tackles and 1 short of being 4th on team and he didn't play much more than half time. He didn't see the field in the 1st qtr for sure.

We won game 2 25-21. Lost 20-17 lead in game 1 and were up 20-17 in game 2 but they tied at 21 before we ran last 4.

USD 26-24 in first. We led most of game but kicked it away at end

The biggest issue was scholarship $$. D1-AA had a lot more $$ to offer than DII. The second advantage was when we were transitioning SU was already eligible. That was a deciding factor for at least one kid going to SU who is in the NFL now. Currently the success SU has had recently is a deciding factor.

The first kick of your college career is pretty tough. I'm sure his head was spinning and the game is really fast at that point compared to HS. He also understood the importance of getting some points there which makes it even harder. For him to make it says a lot. Congrats to him.

Agree with all of the above. I will be making the 5 hour trip north next weekend for the game. There is hope for the future but it might take some time.

ummmmm...........tickets weren't available because the arena was sold out. I was only able to get tickets because I have kids in Nodak Nation. I couldn't get them through my Champions Club membership.

My understanding was that UM refused to play teams with Indian nicknames unless it was conference play or in the NCAA tournament. This game fits neither category.

Apparently it is bigger to you than it is to me and many on here. I don't care if we play ever again and because of that I don't ever visit any of the Bison fan sites. Exactly why are you on here if it is not a big deal for you and your fan base? If you go away you won't ever have to worry about what is said on here.

I don't believe this at all. The AC believes we are beneath them and they should never have to come to GF. Why would us agreeing to go to Fargo twice and feeding into that belief encourage them to come to UND? It doesn't make sense to me.
