As someone who was in the band the answer is BU and wisconsin and the goopher are all on scholarship our band is all people who want to be in the band and who do it for the fun of it, The work they do is something amazing they have to be in the football band to qualify for the hockey band in order to do that they have to take mus 272 which 2 hours of marching band mwf and sometimes every day the week of a football game.
