Best football atmosphere I've ever witnessed live. Penn State fans were gracious and very complementary, except one guy. Him: "Yeah, good win today but you really didn't catch us playing very well." Me: "No, but it looks like a blast and would like to do that someday." Him: "It holds about 110,000, you could fit two of your stadiums inside of it" Me: "Sure. Here's some more math. 31 > 26". Replaying the conversation in my head shortly after: Him: "Have you ever been to a game at Happy Valley?" ME: "No, but I've seen the documentary".

Snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory. Disappointing? Yes. Playoff team if they win the next two at home? Yes.

If Weber State is a blowout loss and we don't look like we belong on the same field, that would be four lopsided losses (including EWU) in my mind, and we might find ourselves on the outside looking in. The shine has worn off of the SHSU and UC-Davis wins. Being independent certainly won't help. Flip side, win out and top 8 seed and a first-round bye could be a possibility, and a hosting the first-round a probability.
