Agreed. The minimum expectations for this program, annually, should be top-half of the WCHA, Final Five appearance, and field of 16 selection. Anything short of that ain't Fighting Sioux hockey. Would falling short of this for one season be grounds for Hak being in trouble? Probably not.

With regard to Davidson, Prpich was a late recruit as well during the summer of '02. That turned out okay. Not saying that the same will be true for Davidson, but I'll error on the optimistic side.

Agreed. Judging from the fan reaction and the autograph session, he won't hurt them at the box office, either...which I'm sure didn't go unnoticed. I hope he comes back, but all the best to him if he changes his mind. It would cost the Sioux one or two spots in the WCHA standings, that how important he is to the puzzle.
