  1. I'll thay he hitth Kleinthather in the enthone. Winner does dishes. Edit: I mean Loser.
  2. You need a dish. Have fun at Senser's!
  3. It's a rockin' nite at the shawn-o house. CSTV ready to go, a little Poker Stars Daniel Negranu bahamas freeroll on the PC.
  4. What's interesting, whether it be hockey, football, whatever...is that if the debate regarding the teams on the ice/field breaks down for them, it always evolves into a crapfest of what a $h1thole North Dakota/Grand Forks/Fargo is. It never fails. One ND flagship has ended their hockey season two of the last three years, and the other is about to embarass them on the football field tomorrow. NDSU has my Sioux-port tomorrow.

If intentionally fumbling the ball forward were a stat, USF would now hold the NCAA record.
  7. It's Linkovitch Chemovsky, from Estonia. He's suiting up for the hockey team second semester.
  8. So he was Smithers to Kupchella's Mr. Burns, so what. Here's saying that Bruce Smith will be the only internal candidate to make the cut.
  9. Deidre Hall still looks good.
  10. Rory went Dr. 90210 on the bit.
  11. I'll bet Gino's next practice was brutal after that one.
  12. It was late in the regular season, the third week of February. I'm not sure how early they start posting the odds, but for futures, I would recommend trying Caesar's first.
  13. Not true, Caesar's Palace takes futures bets on the Frozen Four, we were there last February.
  14. Absolutely, keep the name. At the end of the day, it's the PC idiots that have oversight over the scheduling of athletic events that I see as the biggest risk.
  15. I agree with this. I don't claim to have an understanding of the bureaucracy involved in running a university, but was it really necessary to announce to the world, "EVERYONE? Mr. Buning will be reporting to Mr. Harmeson effective immediately!". It could have been done more quietly. Maybe it was necessary from a legal standpoint to formalize the organization that way, I'm not an expert in employment law.
  16. In hindsight, I think the negative P.R could have reduced somewhat, but we'll never know. Your right, same outcome.

  18. I'm not big on guarantees, just opinions. Whether it's in aligmnent with your's or not, that does not make it any more or less valid.
  19. We wouldn't have this lingering "leave of absence" saga to deal with.
  20. As in life, there is no black and white on a message board, only gray.
  21. Pull the trigger in July, Harmeson becomes the interim, same outcome. Not complicated.
  22. As I clearly stated, the, let's call it a demotion, was a red flag. Inserting Harmeson was not a direct way to handle the issue, IMO. Inserting another layer of management rarely works.
  23. The athletic program was impeded with the Division I delay (I'm certainly not insinuating that Kupchella intended harm, that would be ridiculous). And delegation is fine, but what's happened here with Buning and Harmeson is the corporate equivalent of having the VP of Marketing reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer...it just doesn't make any sense, and it was a red flag from the word go. The athletic director should report directly to the president's office, anything else is a receipe for trouble.
  24. off-topic, but did I just hear an ad for a doctor, sung to the tune of "Saturday in the Park" by Chicago? Weird.
