  1. Trupp's looking great. I'm thinking he'll be the player to watch next year.
  2. Let's see, there was another player that came in that really didn't contribute much until his Junior year, Lee Goren. Led the nation in goals and frozen four MVP's in his senior year if I recall. Not saying that's the case with Forney, but let's not call his career all done.
  3. Then get some balls (or is it pucks) and call the embellishment on the player! Don't call 4 straight penalties on the team. Embellishment is a two minute penalty.
  4. I think if you bring them you're expected to stay after the game to clean up.
  5. Also TJ skated up to him, said something and skated away utterly unconcerned. Next time he needs to rock side to side like it stung him some. Get up and skate it off. Much more believable, especially when you're going to stay in the game. Don't forget the three keys. "Take the Dive, Act Hurt, Get Indignant." Of course it was a legitimate checking the goaltender infraction. Phil didn't need to embellish. On a more serious note I respect the Sioux because they do the least diving in the league. Because of that they should but don't get the benefit of the doubt on calls where they don't go down. If I was a ref I would be very careful calling penalties in favor of a diver. However Adam took it out against the entire team last night (in my opinion of course). Up until that point Adam was actually if anything benefiting the Sioux.
  6. I think when you win it's a better time to analyze the job the officials did. Prior to Phil getting run we had an advantage in penalties. I think Adam got PO'd at his acting and was out to get the Sioux after that. He negated the power play and called 3-4 non consequential penalties in a row against us. Who did Finley slash, was it Butler (#12) who ran Phil?
  7. I didn't think we got outplayed. We outshot them through most of the game. They're a good team. I definatly agree that Phil kept us in the game. He was very good. I didn't think their goalie (regan?) was all that sharp even if warmups. As far as shooting I think we need to take the shot every time we get an open lane and trash the net.
  8. Lammy got run over, the contact wasn't that severe but it was a penalty. He laid on the ice without moving for quite a while. Well if you're supposedly out cold or something you don't just pop up after a while and get back in the game do you? Adam probably thought that too. He negated the penalty with a holding the stick on Bina and called 3 or so straight on the Sioux. Jerk.
  9. Oops I missed one part. I think Dave Norman from KCNN got it back from KNOX had it for several years and then lost the bidding to clear channel. Then Dave sold out to the Leighton group. (KNOX)
  10. Hennesey had been with the KNOX when they had the games. When KCNN picked up the games he went over there. Then the KNOX group got the games which is when Terhaar was the voice. My memory says that lasted about 3 years or so. At that point clear channel was the owner of the group of stations it now has and bought back into it. I think when KCNN had it they had it on K-Lite (105). Prior to that it was on AM on the actual KNOX. There's been a lot of buying and selling of radio stations so it gets a bit mixed up.
  11. What's Bob's brother Doug doing these days?
  12. It's worked to keep us from getting swept hasn't it.
  13. I predict a Sioux Sweep!
  14. Not that it's worth arguing about but I don't see how losing your best player makes the team better.
  15. The team must have been playing for a high draft choice.
  16. So I was too lazy to look up the date, but thanks.
  17. Late in April
  18. Ok was this a transcript or summary?
  19. This is a bad thing for college hockey but since it happened to the Gophers I'm not going to let it ruin my Christmas.
  20. Utter lack of professionalism by the WCHA officials once again.
  21. I think Joe's laughing at the rest of the league when they want to get tough with him.
  22. Attach it to his cup. That'll make him stay at home.
  23. If only there would be a way for us that are too dumb to tune in the right station at the right time to find out what he says.
  24. You got my vote. One thing that Blais used to do was change the lines during games all of the time. That was on teams that were consistently #1 ranked. Maybe that's something to try to make the guys play a bit more desperate.
  25. I think he and Bina played the majority of the game.
