a I think that's the point. They played very few games against legitimate contenders. Michigan, Michigan State...... Who knows how good they are. If I were to guess I'd say they were a good team, but they are not battle tested. They don't really know how to win a close one against good teams. That said anything can happen in a one and done format. I just don't expect them to get out of the regional, and wouldn't mind seeing them in the regional.

Certainly nobody would take away anything on Jonathan Toews. But TJ's pedel to the metal style of play is so much fun to watch. Couple that with the skill he has it's just amazing. In a lesser way it seems that Russ Romaniuk had a style of play coupled with skill closest to TJ.

I was at the game and we had plenty of shots from in close. Their goalie was playing great position and we didn't have that much to shoot at.

I agree with everything everyone's said, but TJ's ability to drop a player who's coming in to check him is unbelievable. I've never seen a player who's able to do that. I haven't seen a player take a beating every shift like this since Zach Parise.

I'm not really in position to comment for other teams, but the Superstars at UND (Oshie, Parise, etc) have been absolutely abuses with the holding, slashing, and everything else with the blessing of Greg Sheppard apparently. Take last week, Oshie got slashed so bad you could hear it across the arena, no call.

Those UND maintenance guys still wear green as well don't they?

It's a good thing that Marcil bailed out the alumni board of trustees. There are a plenty of donors that think that donations should go to help the students and not the faculty. For my part I still would never give money to the University unencumbered. My money's going for scholarships.
