I talked to Max Gerlach of the Colorado Thundebirds U16 at the DU series. He was wearing a Sioux shirt and said his wish is to go to UND. Drafted by the Force and has played 1 game for them this season. Was the captian for Team USA at the U-17 tournament this year. You may remember his from this video:

I have a pair of UND green breezers from the 1997 national championship season. Have the old geometric Sioux logo on them. I also have game worn Bauer Vapor XXX skates from Chay Genoway that he wore in his freshman year. Has his name on the bottom of the boot. These were both obtained directly from the hockey team. Actually they were watching Paul Ladue (Grand Forks Central). He has offers from 5 WCHA schools already. Hope the Sioux can lock him up. Would be a great get and most likely a 4 year player. Very solid player.
