True. True.

What are you saying?!
-
How many times can I stop by?
-
I figure I need to wear my Holy Cross jersey while holding a 'Golden Chokers' sign during the Gophers/Air Force game on Saturday.
-
Excuse me?! What's this blaming business?! I don't believe I knew anything about marching with the band! I do remember someone saying something about it, but then everyone kept saying that more people were coming for pictures so I stayed put. I didn't even realize Sioux-cia had taken off. I was too intoxicated that whole weekend to be responsible for ANYTHING! I somehow popped a blood vessel in my right eye over the weekend and everyone at work this week has been grossed out because 1/2 my eye looks bloody.

Hilarious! I'll be at Brooklyn's between games on Saturday...but not before since I'll be coming from work. Probably Sunday too.
-
Very well spoken! And of course you order taco meat on your turkey grinder! It isn't a grinder without the taco meat and white sauce.
-
I thought he looked like a penguin at first! Very funny! There's only so many years the guy in the crazy costumes can keep winning though.

That would almost be too good to be true! Haha, yeah I had a lot of fun that day. I even had a Gopher fan offer to wear my Holy Cross jersey Saturday night if I could beat him at beer darts. Of course, I would never trust it in the hands of a Gopher fan. I loved all the Duluth fans around me that became Sioux fans on Saturday night!

Certainly YaneA! It's a touching story really and quite hard to put into words, but I'll try my best and paraphrase. About a month ago I received an email from an undisclosed national orphanage association. The founder of this organization is a Sioux fan, naturally, since most of the gracious, giving people in this world follow the green and white. In doing her selfless, almost holy work, the founder has spread the good word of Fighting Sioux hockey to orphanages all across this great country, instilling an amazing sense of Sioux pride in these young children. When Holy Cross upset the Gophers in the regionals last year, apparently these children wanted a Holy Cross jersey more than anything in the world as a way to express their joy at witnessing Gopher failure at its best. But alas, due to poor funding the orphans were unable to afford Holy Cross t-shirts, let alone jerseys. Once word got out about the Sioux fan base that purchased the game worn, [Gopher] tear soaked Holy Cross jerseys, the children begged and pleaded the founder of this organization to do everything in her power to get a picture of the Sioux fans in their Holy Cross jerseys. And therefore I got this amazing email that expressed the wishes of orphans across the nation. I mean really, what would you do in that situation? I put out the call to Sioux fans, and really anti-Gopher fans, everywhere to help make these childrens' wishes come true! Well, that and the manager in the Holy Cross athletic department asked last year if we would be able to get a picture of all the Sioux fans together in their Holy Cross jerseys to send back to them. It just so happened that the Final Five seemed like the easiest place to get people together. PCM, thanks for touching up that picture. It looks much better.

Ha, that was you? I should have recognized you I guess. Want me to remove it?
-
You know it! I can't stand to live more than 100 miles away from you!!

Thanks for posting your pictures LFSPRO, and thanks for your obvious talent Siouxman. I was wondering why Sioux-cia wasn't in the pictures! I just thought she was so tiny that she got hidden in the back. I obviously was oblivious to a lot going on that day.

If you have them saved to your computer, just go to photobucket.com and register. Then you can browse for the pictures on your computer and upload them one at a time. Photobucket hosts the pictures and gives you the IMG code, just copy it and paste it on here.

Oh there were plenty of pictures taken, don't be sorry! I've done it before too. We'll see if Jim Dahl/PCM can work some magic. God I certainly hope not!! I know I was in the middle of drunken texting when RWD smacked me and said we were on the big screen, but I don't remember what exactly I did after that. My mom's husband said we were on tv...and also made a comment that I forgot to take my bra off and throw it in the crowd. I drank way too much this weekend...
-
Ha! That's funny. But it was nice to see everyone again as well as meet some new faces. I'm a little disappointed with how my pictures turned out. Whoever was manning my camera didn't hold it very still. They're kind of blurry. Is anyone good with photoshop? Or maybe someone else's group picture turned out better than mine. Some guy licking my jersey because he liked it....a lot. A Gopher fan "not caring" about the Holy Cross garb.

I'll be there loud and proud! I'm one of the season ticket holders who ended up with 6 lower bowl tickets to get Frozen Four tickets for next year. Section 106.
-
Saturday's games are at 1:30 and 5:30, and Sunday's game is at 4:00. I would assume the #1 seed (Gophers) would get the evening game, but someone mentioned that the Sioux play the evening game.
-
How could I forget! I was on tv with the stunning RWD, Sioux fan at heart! Very cool to show up and realize you were sitting a row in front of me!
-
I agree a lot with what SiouxAddict said, except #5. I had a LOT, and I mean a lot, of Gopher fans harassing me about getting our asses handed to us when I was walking down 7th to meet up with friends last night. And I like a little razzing and can take it all pretty well (just ask WPoS), but the fans I was running into were downright beligerent. Granted, the flow of St. Patty's Day booze probably had a lot to do with it all, but I just kept thinking that Gopher fans have a short memory of the series that took place in Marriuci a month ago. But the Gopher fans behind me made many remarks about the talent of some of the Sioux players, even if they did tell me to sit down every time I stood up to cheer for my team.
-
Hell yeah they did! A DU fan asked me if Sioux fans always travel that well, they just couldn't believe that we packed 1/2 of the arena. This is going to be a great series! Now I just gotta figure out how to get off work by 1:00! I wish the games weren't so early in the day.
-
Definitely cool to see all the Holy Cross jerseys together! I'll post a picture when I get home tonight. My mom's husband said I was on tv with my Holy Cross jersey, about 10 sheets to the wind! If anyone taped the game I'd like to see it!
-
Woohoo!!! I don't feel so bad now that I had to buy 6 regional tickets in Denver to get 2 lower bowl Frozen Four tickets for next year in Denver. Bring on the M's.!
-
4-2 Sioux with a shorty by Duncan, no pun intended.
-
Why a wide lens?? Just because you'll be swimming in a goalie jersey does not mean your body expands to fit the shirt. Cool, sounds like we can plan around 6-6:15 at section 119. RWD, I had Saturday night season tickets so I was at the Saturday night UMD game. I already get crap for living in Denver and not supporting DU, but my excuse was that I had to support the team that will help the Sioux out in the WCHA standings! Did you come to the games? Would have been fun to meet up! I had to cab it home that night...
