I saw that article today. My favorite part is this quote: "It’s everything you want for hockey and you don’t have to be in the freezing cold the whole time to do it. I love it here." Then shortly after it's mentioned that they're playing in an arena that seats 800. I know that's what I would have wanted if I played college hockey. Playing in front of crowds that would have fit into my high school's hockey arena.

Now looking ahead to the UAH games, I just hope the players don't have a let down or holiday hangover. After playing DU followed by UMD, they better make sure they get up for these UAH games and don't have a repeat of the exhibition games in western Canada from a couple years ago.

Well this'll give Cam another weekend of Goaltender of the Week. But how can he top this in the future to get the award again? Maybe he'll just have to not allow a goal for the rest of the season.

I've noticed the same thing, and I love it. I totally understand how a player could finally get fed up of dealing with getting hit after the whistle if the ref isn't calling anything, but I really like to see them skate away from an opponent wanting to mix things up.

There's at least a half dozen players there that must practice their "cross-checks to the back after the whistle". They're fairly proficient at it.

As he should! He and the refs have lost control of the UMD players. Our guys were finally just tired of getting crosschecked.

Not a dive at all. Schmaltz had a UMD player draped all over him. I was surprised it wasn't going to be called on UMD. Could have been another CFB.

Yea, things don't seem to be clicking tonight. Even less-so than last night. And even the announcers have commented that the ice seems bad.

I completely agree. Your online personality and behavior is part of who you are. If you're a jerk online, then you're a jerk, simple as that. (There were a few words I wanted to use instead of "jerk" but I figured I'd keep it family friendly.)

I'm sure it's coincidence. He got hurt and left part way through the game. I highly doubt he would fake an injury during a game just to get an extra couple days off. If it was a mysterious injury during practice I might think otherwise.

Also, overlooked on the Boeser goal was that Schmaltz stayed aware of the play when it broke apart just outside the blue line. Schmaltz quickly held up while Boeser was gaining possession and crossing the blue line so he didn't go offside.
