Which conference to you believe is better, the Mid Con-Gateway or the Big Sky? The Big Sky has all sports including football. Where as in the Mid Con, football would be in a different conference. The Big Sky has Montana and Montana State but one or both of them might go D1-A. The Mid Con and Gateway (probable) have long time rivals NDSU and SDSU. The Mid Con-Gateway also has easier tavel. They could do either for the move to D1. And I think that they probably will. The Sioux Falls market is pretty big and they could become a real attraction for basket ball games. But then again, if they are not going to have schollie football at D1, they could just as well stay at D2 and play folow North and South Dakota teams because the D2 basketball seen is still pretty good, it seems to me.

What is the feeling out in there? Is UND going to be as good of a football team next year as this year? Or will we be down because of the impending playoff ineligebility? We will have an untested Q-back (likely) but our running game should be alright, I think.

Do we have any idea what next year's schedule will be? We will still play an NCC schedule, right? But how about non-conference. Are there any D1-aa teams that will be on the schedule? Thanks.

I agree. USC lost to Oregon State and if I am not mistaken OS was not even ranked, yet USC is still in front of Notre Dame. I do like the BCS system but it appears there are faults in the way the rankings are obtained.

It seems to me the west side bleachers could be left alone. The track could be removed and the whole field could be moved west so that it is closer to the west bleachers. Take a look at the sattelite picture on google maps.

Where did the interlocking "ND" (for North Dakota, in this case) come from? Did North Dakota use it first or did Notre Dame? I have thought it was interesting that they both use a very simmilar logo. Thanks. P.S. Personaly I would rather see North Dakota use the old "S" with the tomahawks.
