  1. Ouch! So much for having depth between the pipes. Talk about a quitter!!! maybe he realized he was not worthy to wear the jersey.
  2. Wish TJ, Dunc, Chorney, and Finley would have signed with the pros. That way we would have an excuse for the terrible team we have this year!
  3. Don't see 25 anywhere on that list. Wonder how many minutes he logged?
  4. Didn't realize Kaip was such an animal in faceoffs this weekend. 24-9! Of course that would be considered subpar to some on this board if that was our record after 33 games!
  5. I agree!! I think I'm goin' to sell my season tickets! This team is terrible! Just wondering if people that come up with this crap have actually watched more than a season or two of hockey?
  6. Hey UMDDogz, Go lay by your dish!!!! Just kiddin' Your prediction wouldn't surprise me. CC is a solid team, but...............I say we take at least 3 out of the 4 points this weekend.
  7. Yeah, that's a nice little run he is on! Wish it was 31 games in a row, his record was 22-4-5, and we had another banner hanging in the rafters. Don't get excited, I am not trying to pin the loss to BC last April on him!!!!!!!!!
  8. Way to go goaltender formerly known as "Phil" I like what Big Joe calls him much better!
  9. Chorney, Bina, Finley, Genoway, Jones, Lapoint in that order! All are too solid not to be in the line-up. Marto will have to wait for an injury or a major collapse by any of the others!
  10. I was in the Springs last January. Vande really came out and played the style of hockey we were waitng for that weekend. The team played well and managed 2 pts on the road and it could have easily been a sweep for our squad. Vande was a big part of that as we were short our players that were in the world junior tourney. Look for V to have a big weekend!
  11. Very True, but that just shows you there is more to the award than numbers. Not taking anything away from what Jeff did his senior season, he was every bit deserving as Miller, IMO even more so. How many thought that Dunc had a chance last year as a soph. Nonetheless, this is way, way to early to be talkin' Hobey. I'd much rather see #8 hung from the banners than having another Hobey trophy on display in the lobby!!! This weekend Kozek keeps it goin'
  12. Hey redwing, Here's some bashing for ya! Just think if Brian Lee was playing on Ottawa's big club and they played UND........Do you think UND would keep it as close as the Manitoba game??? I sure can't wait to find the weak link on the team this season. This waiting for someone to screwup is just killing me! My guess it will be..........................?
  13. Split on the road. Win at home! Lots of parity this year in the WCHA and Tech is no weak team. The season is not a sprint, it is a long grinding road that you work on improving throughout the year. I would be concerned if we would have been beat up by MSU and BU, but we did more than hold our ground against those teams! If we win tonite, everyone will be talking about getting tickets for Denver in April.
  14. I love the sarcasm!!!! I wonder if this will go on all year long!
  15. Save some of the frustration for later in the season. This was one game and you know how we have played over the last three seasons. Barring any major injuries we will be fine!
  16. Yep..I am sure this message board will help Hak straighten things out!
  17. Maybe Brian Lee can console him. Every team needs a player like Radke. Guy that has a chip on his shoulder. Hak needs to discipline him a little when he takes stupid penalties, but he is a solid defensinve forward.
  18. Mike Prpich rocks..........................19
  19. This sure is a great topic! Even better posts!
  20. If he plays like he did on Sunday we should call him Phyllis! If he plays OK call him Phil or JP. If he stands on his head and steals a game, call him whatever he wants!
  21. Don't want to jinx the kid, but I would have to agree. I think he will have a solid season. He looked sharp on Sunday nite!
  22. Sure he doesn't do a lot of scoring but the Wild always seem to do much better when he is in the line-up. From the MN Wild website: 2006-07: Appeared in 48 games and posted one assist during his second NHL season with Minnesota...Totaled 120 PIM to lead the team for the second consecutive season...Minnesota went 29-16-3 in games that he played.
