Why would you want to get rid of the band? Do you ever go to the games when the college students are gone. Listen to how quiet the arena is.....it just isn't the same without the band there. Next you are going to say get rid of the students because all they do is yell at the other team!!!!

I picked my name because my daughter has a little boy about 18 months & is expecting her second in July, so I am proud of being a grandpa & I just thought the name was fitting for me.

Sorry - I was just tired of hearing all of the negative things that people were saying!!

It is so easy for us to just sit here & critize what one player is doing or not doing. If you think that you can do any better than these two, put a jersey on & let us critize you. I think that these two should get the respect their deserve for a season of hard work & dedication. Let's show our support for our TEAM!! It isn't just about what 2 people do on a team, it is what the whole team does together - that is why it is call TEAMWORK!!!! GOOD JOB on a wonderful season not only to Brian Lee & Joe Finley, but the whole TEAM!!!!

I am just numb!!! What an empty feeling!!! It definately has been a rollercoaster ride for the end of the season. It almost makes you want to cry!!!

I just want to know one thing - did the BC player (can't remember his name & really don't care right now) come off the bench to get the empty net goal or was Lee just that slow on getting to the back. How did he beat Lee to the puck? There really wasn't a replay that showed where he came from.

Sorry that should have read "who has lead". I also thought that the first time that UND played in the Alerus that he lead them out, but I could be wrong. SORRY!!!

OK I have read enough about this to make me finally put in my opinion. I don't think that we are any way hostile or abusive. If the NCAA would have come to visit here that would have seen that we do respect the native american. Who leads the football team out on the field (I don't think that is a white guy in costume) I believe that is a Native American, who is obviously proud of his heritage. The headdress that they wear is made by them & is a great achievement. We have seen them sing & dance at the Englestad. Never once have I seen anything hostile or abusive about that. At basketball games I have seen a standing ovation after they were done. I am having a hard time seeing where anything about this is hostile or abusive. UND went to the Native Americans to design the logo. If you read the article about the logo it tells you what it all meant, from the colors to the marks on the face. I don't think that the people at FSU have any clue as to what the colors or even any of the history is with Native Americans, but yet the NCAA allows them to use the so-called mascot & logo. If I was Native American I would be more offended by a white guy dressing up, trying to protray them, to me that is hostile & abusive.

This is just my opinion on the whole draft thing into the NHL. I wish there was some restrictions on them drafting....players should not be able to talk with the NHL until their junior/senior years. Also they can't draft anyone under the age of 22. Can you image how interesting this would make college hockey if they weren't drafted at such a young age. What do you think that our chances at winning the Frozen four would have been if Zach, Brandon, Greene wouldn't have left early, along with other players throughout the WHCA. I think the competition in the WCHA would be unbelievable if these guys would hve stayed until they were seniors. As for posting things that you hear along the way....I agree that you should post them. I understand that you hear something from someone you know who knows someone, is just speculation. Some people have a lot closer connection to the players than we give them credit for. I believe that Jordy will be gone, & wish him the best!!!! Yea it would have been nice for him to stay, but you have to go with the money....don't tell me that anyone of you would give up a chance at making $300k a year more than you already make. You'd be a fool to give it up.

One last thing i was interviewed by WDAZ about it...but i was not put on the air....they got too many comments that the Sioux logo is a bad thing. GO SIOUX KICK SOME NCAA ASS!!!!!!!!

Lee Marvin you are truly a dedicated man!! Always ready to play at any given time and any position. It has been fun to watch as you have played defense & offense!! I too know your family from Manvel & they are all proud of you & so are we!!! You will succeed in life with the positive attitude & dedication that you have. I wish you the best!! I hope that we will continue to see you throughout the hockey seasons!!! GOOD LUCK & Thank you for the dedication that you have given to the UND hockey program!!!

Has everyone forgotten that there is no "I" or "Parise" in TEAM. Yeah there were a few goals that we have seen him stop like that before. But for us to sit here & bash one guy is wrong!!! We should be proud of were they finished!!! Yeah we lost but we don't have to sit & critize the team for the lose. They all know that they lost & had some mistakes, I don't think that as fans we need to sit & ponder on how they did this or that. How about we compliment them for doing what they have. GOOD JOB SIOUX!!!!!

Congrats to a great season by the Sioux!!! I am proud of them!!! Things didn't look this good at the beginning of the season, but they made it to the FF. I know that there would be alot of people wishing their team had a chance to be there. Unfortunately the outcome wasn't what I had wanted, but nonetheless, we had a good season & a great post-season!!! Way to go SIOUX!!!!!

I am pulling for Spirko to get the first goal. He has been playing so well, but nothing ever seems to just go in. It will be just like Kiap scoring his first goal at the Final Five. Spirko scoring will just get everyone pumped up. Spirko is due for a HUGE goal!!! GO SIOUX!!!!

I couldn't believe it when I read the one from Minnesota, so I had to read it twice. Then when the other guy asked the question about being a goalie, I really had to read it twice. I think that both of them are from Minnesota because neither one of them have a clue!!!

I overheard some people talking last week about the jerseys just having "NORTH DAKOTA" on them.
