They played it!!!! Listening to the Dan Patrick Show on ESPN Radio right now. They played the Holy Cross call as one of the "Homer Call of Week" Nominees.....(you can vote now at www.espnradio.com on the Dan Patrick Show page). Dan and Phil "The Show Killer" had a good time talking about the clip and said it's the winner hands down! More good press for the Holy Cross clip!! And more people re-living the Gophers getting sent home!! Gotta love it!! (For those of you interested you can hear the Dan Patrick Show anytime via internet stream anytime day or night. It was played in the first hour about 3/4 of the way through)

Just sent this to the Dan Patrick Show on ESPN Radio (1520 AM in Grand Forks). They have a weekly feature called "Homer Call Of The Week". Hopefully they will pick up on it and put it on their show on Monday AM. Dan/Show Killer, Here's an awesome candidate for homer call of the week. It could be the biggest upset in NCAA college hockey history! The game was the NCAA College Hockey West Regional in Grand Forks, ND covered by ESPNU last Friday March 24th. #1 Minnesota Gophers against the Holy Cross Crusaders. Being held in Grand Forks the home of the (HUGE gopher rivals) University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux. The game went into overtime tied 3-3. Less than a minute in the Crusaders scored and sent the gophers packing. Great moment for Holy Cross!! Great moment for the Sioux Fans who were there to see their rivals lose in OT before taking the ice against the Michigan Wolverines! Take a listen to the clip! Does anyone have pic or video of Prpich picking a fight with the Michigan Tech goon John Scott? I just read about it in the Herald article from a week or so ago and would love to see some footage or stills. Scott's that same goon that Kozek knocked down and then turned around and scored a goal earlier this season. Awesome!
