When is 1 inch longer than 180 feet?
siouxforeverbaby replied to The Sicatoka's topic in Men's Hockey
I was so happy for Robbie. Though without having to look because I have really slow internet right now, who was it that said in January that he probably opened the door to talk to them? That person gets the halo. As to whether or not the charges should have been filed that entirely depends. if it is an older cop, they might be more willing to just let it go; if it is a young cop who is trying to get on the good side of his boss, he might not be so willing. Either way, case dismissed and Robbie knew the truth, time to move on. -
LOL. Siouxmama, yep I haven't seen them in a couple of weeks, but I am always at work. "the source"- How would we start a show called Lost when we didn't lose one of the people that you mentioned and another we will find out in a year? I realize that you all have your sources, but I will believe it when it comes from the coaches and/or the ad. until then a rumor is just a rumor. if you can't back it up then don't expect us to believe, too many people on here from small towns.
-
yep, I know them and went to school with David's kids
-
don't complain. The biggest thing that has happened in Lansford lately is the annual Street Dance. which wasn't that exciting.

i know I know, I worded that wrong. I actually know the student representative and he is a good guy. But if you look at the make-up of the committee, the Grand Forks community gets more of a voice than the students do. My random guy from the reservation was meant to be a guy that the reservation wanted because he is important to them and a high-up guy. Sorry for the confusion.

I hear what you guys are saying, but they still could have had a little thing about the rest of the Sioux recruits. Though, I don't think that had much about Ryan winning the Hobey either or mentioning that Dustin Penner who played for MSU-Bottineau got his name on the Stanley Cup. Just my little rant about my hometown newspaper.
-
my guess is that he will be added because he is on their list of must be signed by 8/15. Hawks Player Tracker this is a list of the players in their system. Porter is about halfway down.

i don't have a problem with a Native American being named to the committee, but I think it should be a student not some random guy from the reservation because students are the ones who will be affected by who the next president is and it kinda bugs me that right now students only have one voice on the committee.

that is better than the Minot Daily News. They had two articles on the draft. One on Brad Malone and one stating that 6 Gophers were drafted and no mention of the other 5 Sioux that were recruited. I e-mailed the Sports Editor that I was disappointed that they didn't mention the other Sioux recruits and that it was actually 8 Gophers not 6. I then proceeded to give him the names, where they were drafted and by whom of the 8 Gophers and 6 Sioux. He told me that they were AP articles and he could not do anything about it and they would put any other AP articles in the paper. I felt like telling him, that with UND the closest school to Minot, he should have told one of his lazy ass reporters to do some research and write an article. Sorry, had to vent that it is sad when I do more research than his reporters. Especially, when they could have written a paragraph off of the research that I gave them. Ok, I am done now.

good idea, though it is the thought that counts. though either way, i would go with flip flops.
-
that depends, are your feet sunburned? cause if they are, screw the shoes, it would hurt too much. Just replying.
-
don't flatter yourself.
-
put UND's number up by one. Bradley Eidsness goes at 139 in the 5th round to Buffalo from Calgary
-
he will do well there and i am sure Brad knows what he is talking about, I just found it strange that there is two different tales here. I think Brad is probably right though. And I only stalk the cute ones, not that I would do anything cause the freshman are slightly too young for me most of the time.

duncan invited to blues training camp
siouxforeverbaby replied to Csonked Out's topic in Men's Hockey
yes, you will in 2010. cause I vote that Osh and Duncs stay until after their senior years. or 2009 if you want them right after they win a ninth national championship -
ok, now i am confused because I checked the Ohio State website and they didn't have anything about him or his sister. not that I don't trust Brad, but this is confusing. Oh and i am not a stalker, but nothing on facebook either.

and if it isn't on Versus, I don't get to see it! slow internet and parents who don't get sports packages.
-
ok ok, didn't mean to start a huge discussion. back to the draft, it is really interesting not like the NFL draft which took forever.
-
thank you Diggler! I knew that I should know if he could or not for some reason. and stop making fun of people's jerseys. it is not their fault that they are fashion challenged, unlike you.
-
ok, I know that this is the wrong thread, but i don't feel like figuring out what thread this goes into and everyone is on here. This may have been mentioned before but i was on the BCHL website and saw on their commitments that Hunter Bishop had committed or recommited to play at UND in 2008-2009. Can he really come back?
-
and Patrick Kane goes first overall, huge shocker there!
-
that was you! I laughed so hard at that sign.
-
yeah i could feel bad or maybe not. for final five, i was going to make a sign that said Hey Mr. Frazee, Meet Mr. Bina.......OH WAIT, NEVER MIND! but i couldn't figure out how to make it short and sweet unlike Robbie's goal which was long and sweet.

yep, had the seat belt wearing people die too. My dad learned when I first got my license that I don't put the car in gear unless he is wearing his seat belt and now he just automatically does it when he gets in my car.

relax and breathe, only 111 more days until the season. We will get through it together.
