I don't think he did as I am 45 minutes from Bottineau for the summer and never heard anything about it including being 15 minutes from Bottineau around that time. Which Bottineau also plays some Canadian teams as well.

ok, I found this kinda of funny. but it is over and he apologized. I don't always agree with refs but I wouldn't want to do their job. Though, there is two Albers reffing in the WCHA, at least there was last year...Brad and Jeff. And there is a third Sheppard who is an AR. Just pointing that out.
