  1. I would not want to make that line mad! That would not be good with any of those players!
  2. Is Game 7 on NBC or Versus?....I normally look the day of, but I want to plan because I won't be home that night and i want to watch. The Pens played very well, however they have to play even better on Friday because Detroit is a hard team to beat at home. And Game 7 atmosphere is going to be tough.
  3. The year Smaby was C, we only had two A's that I remember....Prpich and Porter. Let me check. I tried searching fightingsioux.com, but it is telling me nothing.
  4. Is Fink still in the possibility for next year or is he waiting too? He is the other one that I have for possible coming in next year, but I haven't updated in awhile.
  5. He was trying to think of Landon Snider, the goalie who came in for the second semester after Grieco left. Two seasons ago, which is where he is getting the two years. So not quite from JPL and JPar's time...about two years after JPar left....and as of this spring he was still around, I lived next door to him.
  6. I definitly would have included Fabian if he was playing. He suffered a season ended knee injury earlier this spring or late winter.
  7. The Aces pulled off an overtime win tonight winning 3-2 and pulling the series to within one. The next game is next THURSDAY....in Alaska. If necessary, game 7 will be held in Alaska on Friday, June 5th. GO JPL!!!! oh, and the rest of you Aces.
  8. Just letting everyone know. JPL and the Aces are playing against the South Carolina Sting Rays tonight. From what I can find on the echl website, it is tied in ot 2-2. The Aces are on the brink of elmination, down in the series 3-1. They are playing for the Kelly Cup. I will let you know what happens.
  9. Happy Memorial Day for about another hour! Thank you to all the service men and women and thank you to those who help support them back at home.
  10. Again, being there for a team in the locker room can contribute to a win or loss....being there for them in practice can contribute to a win or loss. Like SiouxFanatic said, so Bina and his injury did not push his teammates to try and win a National Championship for him?...or the next season, just his being there and able to skate, that did not encourage them?....Or when he became cleared for contact the week that we played Denver...that did not inspire his teammates, just a little bit? The only reason that I am arguing with you is that it is not fair to countless Sioux players that brought something to our team even though they did not play that much. Especially when they are not here to defend themselves, it is quite easy to do that to someone who can't not reply to you.
  11. You do realize that Joe suffered a concussion in the 2nd game of the season and missed most of the first half due to PCS right? We didn't really start turning things around until after he returned to full strength? Just saying since that explains somethings.
  12. again though since you maybe didn't catch it the first time....it does not matter the intent.....to say that he was a non-factor because he didn't play that much is wrong.....you can be a factor on the ice or on the bench or in the lockeroom or in the stands. You are entitled to your own opinion and I am entitled to disagree with them and argue with them. So, fine....think what you want to think...I give up.
  13. Ok, I am sorry, but I can not hold this in any longer....HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT WALSKI WAS A NON-FACTOR THE LAST 4 YEARS? Were you at every practice? Are you in Coach Hakstol's head? Aaron Walski is a great guy and I am proud that he came to play for UND.....I would be willing to bet that most if not all of the guys that have played with him in the last four years are proud that he supported them even when he was not getting much playing time. And a non-factor that won a game for us? A game that was a shut-out for him? Sorry, but I would say that Aaron had a little bit of a factor in that game. Yes, the defensemen helped, but you still need a goalie back there in the net. You can be a factor on the team without playing that much or if all....Robbie Bina missed a year, does that make him a non-factor for that game? Aaron Walski had a factor on the last four teams, we were just not lucky enough to see it. End of rant.
  14. SURE, rub it in! Pictures of the game?
  15. Except most of the programs are funded by federal grants....UND wants the grant money...they have to spend it the way that the government says to. And unless you contact the school, I don't think there is a link like that....it may fall under information that cannot be given out to the public.
  16. Not as of yesterday, i also ran Alaska Aces to see if it would pop up. You would think that someone would have it....or maybe that is just Sioux fans?
  17. I saw that, it kinda makes me want to find a video of the scrum to see what went on besides that. Also, what equipment it was.
  18. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!
  19. Back on the topic of former players, does anyone know how our former Sioux are doing over at the World tourney? Since I lost the website and I am too lazy to look for it right now. You guys are so much faster, you can just give me the website.
  20. I can't find it online, but Dakota Textbook has had some nice keychains in the past. You could try looking there.
  21. Some of the NA programs are funded by federal grants, so you could in a way say that the federal government has a say in them but not really.
  22. Actually I believe that you can libel someone who is dead. from the law.com Law Dictionary. Law Dictionary The website actually has a very detailed definition for those of you who would like to know.
  23. Happy Easter everyone!
  24. that sounds good, i just wanted to add ideas. I love the picture of Eids and that is a good idea for October.
