Can we not get into the arguement about fighting again. DaveK does not agree with the most of the rest of hockey fans about fighting....do we really need to get a game thread closed about this?

Ok, so bad first period...but the good news is that we have had bad first periods and come back before. They just need to not get frustrated and take the game back under our control in the second. I have faith in our boys.....still 4-4 in Houghton start of the 3rd.

No, he wanted to go to Air Force but was denied because of his history of depression. He then went to NMU to play for a year before reapplying to Air Force. It was on the reccomendation of his coach from NMU (I believe) that he got in the second time. He sat out last year with Air Force per NCAA rules and then is now playing this year for them.

I doubt that Jacques would have. It was his dream to go to the Air Force Academy. Pierre-Paul can't play college hockey in the US since he played in Canada in the major juniors I believe. (Red Deer?)

black is an athletic color....that is why we don't wear pink. Pink and Green and white are the academic and official school colors. Black, green and white are the official athletic colors.

Yep, that would be the point when Hakstol asked for an explanation, talked to the ref for awhile and then just looked at Eades like "you talk to him because I can't anymore" (that is what it looked like from my vantage point anyway)

I get what you are saying, but I think most of us would be smart enough if we were singing it to sing it in tune! I don't mind when you try to make the high notes, but when singing the national anthem when you can't reach them...DON'T DO IT! I could barely pay attention to what she was singing because I could not get past that she was out of tune for most of the high notes and she had a lot of them.

It would have to go through her. However, I believe that she said at one point that she would not mind seeing it go to a vote of the tribes. I do not remember when she said this. Mr. His Horse is Thunder does not want it to go to a vote at all.

There is one on there with Jonny Toews and one with David Hale, too.
