Hello, I am moving to St. Paul for grad school this fall and I had some questions before I get down there. 1. If buying tickets for the Sioux/Gopher game down there, where do you reccommend getting seats? The student section is not an option as I would get kicked out for getting into a fight at one point or another. 2. What places are there to watch Sioux Games in relation to bars/restaurants? I know Sensor's in Bloomington, but where else? Any help would be great! I am excited for the move, just not the constant Gopher news!

Would they get the call or would Fink? Mattson and Knight both told the coaches that they wanted to spend this year in juniors, Fink as far as I know has not said one way or the other.

I attended UND from 2004-2009, so relatively recently. What I was referring to is the fact that I was not around in the 70s when all of the interesting things that you all talk about doing where happening.

I have not seen this posted, but either way...it deserves a thread. One Last Zamboni Ride Denny Gunderson, the Zamboni driver at the Ralph has decided to retire with this week being his last week. The article goes into how well he has cared for the ice and how long he has been doing this. I just wanted to tell him thanks and for always having a smile at hockey games and when he cleaned the ice right before ice skating class for us....PS: that made it really slippery for skating...I only fell twice that day!!!!

We get the agreement and we are off the list as per the terms of the settlement, the "big universities" will schedule teams that are off the list....what is the difference between Florida State and UND if both are off the list? Pierre-Paul, he is 22 yrs old and the one who plays defense for the University of Manitoba Bisons (On a side note, has anyone else ever thought of informing them that Bison is both plural and singular?) Their Family goes: J.P - 24, almost 25 Jacques-23 Pierre-Paul-22 Mario- 21 These three just had birthdays And the twins are 20, I believe...Sorry, uscho.com isn't telling me. I saw on nhl.com and hadn't seen it here yet that the Lightning avoided arbitration and signed Matt Smaby to a two year contract as posted today on their website. LINKY

Just different times when he has lost his temper over little things that wouldn't have bothered Prpich and things that most of the guys let go such as when somebody said something to him....you know, learning to control your temper.

UND started having three A's about two or three years ago.....two years ago Oshie was the third A until he got in trouble and it was taken away. And I agree that Zajac can remind people of Prpich, so does Hextall, however I have seen Zajac be worse than that....I never saw Hak as captain so I am not sure about him. This is just my opinion as far as captains go and the guys very rarely go with me.

Just to point out, it was never all of his miscues..and if you are refering to the Frozen Four in Denver, I was there...Chay gave up the puck at least 3 times all leading to goals. It happened off the tv screen so no one but the people there saw it. Seriously though, about this incident.....They are young men who did something really stupid and THEY know it. Fratts was held accountable by Hak and that is that. Fins will get a reprimend by the Caps if he hasn't already. Do we really need to discuss how stupid they were and keep bringing it up? I know the off season has been long, but we do have other things that we could discuss.

Vande or Chay wears the C and whoever doesn't get it gets an A. For the second two A's, I would say Lamoureux, Hextall, or Gregoire. All three of them are leaders in their own way and I could see them grooming Gregoire to wear the C one year aka Duncan. Zajac has too many times where he is short-tempered and is controlled by his emotions for me. I can see Eids getting a chance but that is too much of a dark horse for me to choose him.

I don't know about Jordan Murray...I do know that JOSH Murrary is still academically ineligible. I know what you mean, I just had to do it!

At the moment, I only see Okoposo, and the Parises as attendees who would be coming to this one as opposed to the Oshie Tournament. This is cool to know about though. I hadn't heard of it before.

I believe that he is still in high school and is headed to the USHL. Let me check. Edit: Brad posted on May 13th on his blog that Nolan was taken by Cedar Rapids in the first round of the USHL Entry Draft.

Ok, thanks! I think he is uneligible next year since he will be 21. That is ok, doesn't mean that he is not good. As Sioux Fans know quite well.

Someone brought up this question on Brad's Blog and I was wondering about it as well. Does anyone think that Aaron Dell could possbly get drafted? Is he draft eligible? I know that goalies aren't drafted all that often, but is there even a chance?

BINA! And you used your first post to quote a post from 4 years ago? It is from the newspaper's website and it was pure speculation at the time. How is it making something up if we found information in a newspaper and then were wondering about it? I do not hate Paukovich, I just really could care less about hearing news about him. Personal opinion because I do not care for him as a hockey player. And I do believe that he has parts of his life off the ice where he is a good person. I did see on DU's website when he was playing for them that he plays a huge role in a charity that helps people like his sister....I am sorry, I have no clue which one because I cannot recall something from 3 years ago. Which is wrong, because students should have a say in this...though knowing this year's leadership, I am not surprised that they are having nothing to do with it.

Camping out for Frozen Four tickets was fun....The only way to get rid of the people who want them for the sake of selling them or saying that they have them will not want to line up that long and that gets rid of them. You know the University could save themselves a lot of trouble if they did something....asked the STUDENTS about the Student Season Ticket Process....I know shocker that it might work!
