I would call myself reasonable sane so I must reply with my 0.02 here. Spearing is never ok because a person can be SEVERELY injured by it happening and no one should do it...before you bring up Prpich, Mike stated that he did not mean to do it, his stick slipped and I believe him. As for throwing down your golves and helmet to fight a player, if you watch the video Jones tells Lucia that they are going to go (presumably from the video and me being there). Lucia knows the code and the hockey code says, you pull a cheap shot on someone or someone's teammate, then you had better be able to back it up. Why Jones went that ballastic with the refs, I don't know...perhaps someone said something to him. You would have to ask the players on the ice or Jones because something made him snap after the refs stopped him, he just wanted to fight Lucia before that...he snapped after the refs had him. (Again, I was there..I saw him do this). If the refs had let Jones go, the most Lucia would have gotten would have been some stitches, boo hoo for him. So, as a sane person, I would say that spearing Lucia would not be the lesser of two evils because that could have brought SERIOUS harm to him and gopher or not, I don't wish that on a person...better some stitches than having certain body parts cut open or having severe pain there for a long time.

Just to point out, that Hak gave the bird to the official after Adam refused to discuss with him the fact the Bearuline (sp?) pushed Malone into the penalty box when Malone could not see where he was going. and don't even bother replying to me with some reponse otherwise...ignoring you now.

haha, my friends and I were right there and Shepard is all in Hextall's face giving him a talking to and Hextall is like, "um ok, yes sir that was wrong of me, sure thing i will stop it" It kinda reminded me of a game, I don't remember which one it was, but Shep had his finger up in JPar's face giving him a talking to with one finger out and JPar was like, "yes sir, I am number one...thanks for reminding me" If you don't know what I am talking about, I will try to find the picture of the incident.

Looking at the one's at Scheel's today, I am pretty sure that they are pretty much the same thing....which baffles me because the official shirts were only going to be sold at the Sioux Shop....they might have decided to add Scheel's due to the popularity or something like that.

you should be ok with the flag, others have brought them in...the upper bowl was sold to students and the the general public so I am not really sure if that answers your question. However, students don't have seats reserved for us as specific spots.....we have tickets that get us in and then it is general admission to sit in whatever seat. On another side, wearing a gopher jersey in the student section is going to lead to taunts, so if you don't want those... i don't reccommend sitting there.

Sioux Crew tried having Sue Robinson (The Bus) at last year's Gopher Series, but the REA told them that they couldn't do it anymore.

it is not becoming a tip-toeing gopher-hugger....whether we are playing the Huskies, the Seawolves, the Badgers, the Pios, the Tigers, the Gophers, the Eagles, the whatever....it reflects poorly on the person with the sign, our entire fan base, and our team to show that much lack of class. Annoucers/Radio Guys/Coaches/Players and their personal lifes are not something that should even be considered to be put on a sign. Dubay, Tyler Hirsch, and Nate Hagemo are people who made mistakes and DO NOT deserve to be brought up time and time again. No one does, and if you would rather think of it this way....what if it was BE or Duncs or Kozie or Joe or Zach Jones, or whoever on our team that opposing teams were doing this to? Or how would you feel if you were that person's family or friends or that person. All I am asking is that whether you are making a joke or actually thinking about doing something, show a little class please.

If that had class, yes. But that does not have class. Please if anyone does make a sign, stay away from former players mental health and any mistakes that they have made. All it does is make our fan base look bad and you look bad as well. I don't care if you attack a player's ability playing the game, but stay away from their personal life.

i willl have to look when I get back to GF, but I thought the rules prohibited us from having tents this year? Maybe WiSioux's roommate has the rules in her stuff somewhere and WiSioux can check for us.

as far as I know, there aren't any plans to re-open it. It has remained boarded up all fall.
