Imagine you are a coach and your team is stacked with nothing but Sids and Ovies.......................... You gonna concentrate the piss out of a defensive scheme? He gets such a bad rap. One that has become quite the tattoo (tough to remove). The guy takes his team's talent, whatever level it may be, and coaches it accordingly. You gotta admit , what it would be like if he coached Sid's team....... Lemaire to Sid and Evgeni: "OK guys, we're up 3-2. I have no faith in your scoring abilities so I want you to dump and chase, then sit back and protect our fragile leed!" LOL I was at a bowling party for my 5 year old son's friend and I couldn't get the game on the tele. I saw it was 6-1 and thought, cool, Parise must of had a good day numbers wise. Just one goal? LOLOL

When I was on NHL.com this morning watching the highlight video, you could totally tell the homers acted as if only one team was there. Welcome to Slumpsville, Sid! LOLOL

I'm in Jersey and just watch 90% of Devs games on TV if I'm not there in person for the home games. We are fortunate to have Doc Emrick call our games. I hate when NBC has to take him away for a game between two teams I don't care about, but the guy calls a great game. He definitely is a fan of the Devils as is the color, Chico Resch, but they call a very even game as far as bias goes. Sometimes I get irritated when they call a score for the opposition, but you have to respect the hockey knowledge of both. I can't believe you can score a goal now by pushing the goalie into the net when he has it under his equipment Parise's goal was juuuuuuuuuuuuust slightly sweeter, no??? LOL

Parise on the power play. Let's go Zach!.....and Travis!! Parise gets a penalty call for so the PP gets to continue 6:55 to go. C'mon DEVILS!!!!!!!!

Hey guys Thanks for all the cool replies! Very friendly site here! I have received a few PMs on possibly getting one of those Parise cards, but I'm still at a dead end. If you have one to spare, know someone that does or know where I can get one, please chime in. I'm an eBay regular since 1997. I don't believe I've ever seen one listed. Hey Guys. New to the boards. Huge Z. Parise fan as I'm in NJ. When he became available in the draft, I was excited as H. E. double hockey sticks! LOL Intense player who brings it all every game (as if I need to tell any one here that, huh???). He's my son's favorite player and about a year ago, we started a Parise hockey card collection. Anyway, apparently, there is one or two of him on a UND college card??? My son saw a picture of one and wants me to help him find it. This is the pic: If this is the card, does any one have any info on where we might get one or two? My son is bugging the life out of me to track one down and I thought this would be a fantastic starting point. Because of Parise (Z and J!), the Sioux are our favorite college team and we watch any of the games we can find on TV. Not that easy in New Jersey, but once in a while.... ESPN does broadcast the frozen four, so... Anyway, thanks to any one that can help us out. We look forward to the upcoming season! GO SIOUX!
