I love how the B1G gets blamed for breaking up the WCHA. The WCHA would have still been the strongest conference in the NCAA had it not been for UND, DU, CC, etc going for a money grab and giving the big FU to the smaller schools left behind. I would tend to agree that the next school to add hockey will be a B1G school, but not Nebraska.

We took a round about way home yesterday, I-29 to north of Sioux Falls, east to Pipestone, MN, north on 75 until the plow called it a day, east to Morris, north on 59 to I-94 (which was closed about 45 minutes before we got there), spent the night in Fergus Falls, woke up this morning and went north on 59 to MN 108, then west to the old hwy 52 and into Moorhead. Total travel time I would estimate at about 16 hours but made it to work today. Stay safe everyone.

I'm ready for my Gophers to lay an egg this weekend. Look at the losses to Tech and Mankato earlier, and the ties with Wisconsin (when they were baaaaaaad) and UAA. This weekend reeks of letdown for the Gophers, hopefully its just the basketball team I'm smelling. Also, why all the hate on the message board for us? Can't people follow more than one hockey team anymore?

FSN used to do their director's cut thing online but I can't remember them really promoting that much this season so I'm not sure if they are still doing it.

Its very easy to speculate who is calling the shots and moving the goal posts. Could be Maturi, could be Lucia, could be Kaeler, could be the regents, etc etc. I've never run an NCAA division 1 hockey program so I have no idea how exactly the scheduling works. Has anyone here run a division 1 hockey program? Could you please fill us in.

Our group ended up with one extra ticket, section 3 row 8 for Friday night. Section 3 is the end UND shoots at twice. Make me an offer.

Alt plays defense and the d-pairings are anyone's guess but I'm sure Alt, Helegson, Skjei, Schmidt, Marshall, M. Reilly, Holl, and Parenteau will all be suited up if Haula can't go. One will of those will sit if Haula plays.

Did you physically get your tickets? Or just order them?

Haula is a game time decision--someone on GPL said he practiced with the team today. Rau-Bjugstad-Isackson Warning-Condon-Budish Ambroz-Boyd-Serratore 4th line is anyone guess but will most likely be Extra D--R. Reilly--J. Holl

Must have been thinking of Lucia. Regardless of when he was drafted he will play in the NHL.
