That little piece of paper you get when you graduate from Cornell is a pretty significant advantage...having a brother there also helps.

It's funny because it doesnt make any sense.

I don't think thats fair in terms of hockey "blue chippers." There are only a few blue chip recruits every season. Last season these were they only two in my opinion. Kyle Okposo, and Erik Johnson. Next season the only "blue chippers" are Kyle Turris and James Van Riemsdyk.

I've never seen Nash play, so it's too hard to draw any conclusions.

Considering the success of the Green Bay team 34 in 38 isn't too shabby. I didn't notice this until a little while ago but Heisenburg has him as the #2 USHL recruit right now.

Justin Johnson from Eau Claire North will be playing for Omaha (USHL) when the High School season is over I believe.

Not sure how many times I have to say it. These will be the NORM for EVERY team in the next few years. They are muuuch lighter, and the players love them. Get used to it.

Trust me...it's official. It's been reported by two different sources now.

Thought it was interesting.... I was informed by a very, very reliable source last night and then confirmed this morning that Hirsch has been kicked off the team. Last night after the players were all gone Lucia told Equipment manager Harry to remove all of Hirsch's stuff from his locker. The coaches broke the news to him this morning. What a waste of talent.

For all those people who bash these jersey's...have you ever even tried one on? Trust me...there is a HUUUUGE difference. They are absolutely fantastic. The weight difference is incredible. And when they say form fitting, it's not like they are that tight like you are describing...you can't see pads or whatever you're talking about. Go to the local store...find one...you will be surprised. Teams would be idiotic to not switch to this material.

Wisconsin has some great defensemen coming in, dont get me wrong, but dang did they miss the boat with LaPoint. RLR LOVES him.
