No, I just don't like it when players are slighted on a case where it couldn't be further from the truth.

Anyone who says that Boston University didn't have as good of a shot at winning the whole thing as any team in the tournament is just plain out of their mind. Boston University had a GREAT team last season. Schneider was absolutely spectacular in the NCAA tournament 3 out of the 4 games. And in the game he wasn't spectacular, just good, he still found a way to win. What people don't remember is that Boston College was a 3 seed last seson. He single handidly put his team on his back and carried them to the frozen 4. Played well enough to win a semi-final game, and played AWESOME in the title game but people are arguing it's laughable for him to be a second team All American? Don't be so biased.

The goalie can only do so much in a game. His team only scored one time, what is he supposed to do? 2 goals should be good enough to at least tie a team in College Hockey. I don't know how many times I have to say that the WJC should have nothing to do on basing how good he is in college hockey. Cardinal makes my point to a "T." Like I said he led the youngest team in the nation to a National Championship game as a sophomore. I almost forgot about him shutting out Miami and Boston University who many picked to win the entire tournament. If those don't count as big time stages then I don't know what does. I guess you would take him any day of the week and twice on friday and staurday then?

First of all Elliott has two t's. Maybe you were sleeping or something...but didn't Schneider lead one of the youngest teams in college hockey last year to the Championship game of the NCAA Ice hockey tournament and only lost 2-1? So you're saying that if that shot by BC at the end of the game goes in instead of hitting the post and BC wins it in OT that Schneider and Elliott should switch places on your greatness theory? I didn't think so. Cory Schneider had 37 saves and only 2 goals against in the title game and that's not carrying his team on primetime tv? I'm not arguing that Schneider is better then Elliott because I know he's not. But there is absolutely no question in my mind, and NO ONE has brought up a single good point as to why he is not the second best goalie in the country.

First of all, don't forget that I'm a Sioux fan as well. Second of all, I honestly don't know who doesn't see Schnieder as a first or second team All American. Schnieder went #1 in both Fantasy College Hockey drafts on USCHO.

Schnieder may not be on Elliotts door but he's on his street. Name one other goalie you would include, Geopfert? Yeah possibly but he's not in Schnieders class. Schnieder had a 2.11 gaa and a .929 save percentage. Finished 7th in the NCAA in GAA, 3rd in Save Percentage, 1st in minutes played and tied for 1st in Shutouts. By the way I could care less what he did at the WJC. He kept the team in games. Team USA was questionable at best. So adding that and 2 games he played against the Sioux don't add up to much to me. He's proven it time and time again how good he is.

Ah...Schnieder is a joke? He very well could have been first team. The only goalie I would even CONSIDER to put ahead of Schnieder is Elliott.

Last year has nothing to do with this year what don't you realize about that? And even if you do go back to last season Minnesota beat North Dakota 3 out of 4 times so what is your point exactly?

I hate it when they vote last years champions first the next year when everyone knows they arent as good. Let alone base an upset in the playoffs for the next seasons rankings. Everyone knows Minnesota has the best team on paper right now and i'm not afraid to say that.

The AA team is 4th team out of Shattuck. The Prep team is the top team. They play against Midget AAA teams, Junior A teams, high school teams as well as some college teams. The team will also represent Minnkota District (Minnesota) of USA Hockey at the Tier 1 Midget National Tournament. The AAA team is players who are generally juniors and seniors who werent good enough for the prep team. They play a variety of games against Midget AAA, High School and Junior teams. The U-16 team is usualy kids who are obviously U-16 and will most likely make the jump to the prep team as juniors and seniors. The U16 team plays an independent schedule, competes in several tournaments around the country and will represent the Minnkota District of USA Hockey at the U16 National Tournament. And the AA team is usually freshmen and sophomores and a few older kids who won't get past the AAA level at Shattuck. The Midget AA team plays an independent schedule against Minnesota Junior Gold, High school Junior Varsity teams.
