  1. I understand what you mean but you realize that you could get UND in big trouble for saying things like that right?
  2. Not to be a !@#$%! but how many Toews threads are necessary.
  3. How about no. Trust me I can't spell my own name half the time but lets try using these. Shattuck Shattuck-St. Marys S-SM deal? There is no S on the end of Shattuck even if you use an apostrophe, No S!
  4. SHATTUCK...no S Sorry...pet peeve
  5. He can't help someone used the wrong thread.
  6. He was the only rookie to make the first team yet he's not rookie of the year. Weird but I'm sure he's happy with first team.
  7. 100%, yes. My magic 8 ball says your ridiculous in your assessment of your magic 8 ball. There is a better chance of him playing in the NHL with the Panthers next year then playing in the USHL.
  8. I think next year it's Chorney's team. He deserves the C.
  9. He's got plenty of experince on defense. You can't look down the road to project 2008 playing time right now. As it stands (saying that no defense go pro) Chorney, Lee, Finley, Bina, Jones, Genoway, and LaPoint have to play every night. Since you usually only dress 6 defense that leaves one out. Since Genoway can play forward...I would assume he moves up. None of Chorney, Lee, Finley, Bina, Jones, or LaPoint are going to be sitting.
  10. I don't think Blood is coming unless Chorney or Lee go pro. He could use that year in the USHL like LaPoint did this season. (Even though he could have played this season) So it sounds like the consensus would be that Genoway would move to forward if none of the defense go pro?
  11. Well, Chorney, Lee, or Finley could very well sign...but none of the 7 we are talking about are playing juniors next season.
  12. But would you rather he take up a forward spot or is one of him, Chorney, Lee, Bina, Jones, LaPoint or Finley going to sit every night?
  13. I love when people rip on the trap when there isn't a team in college hockey that doesn't use it.
  14. Sioux lose Porter, Fabian and Foyt to graduation. Sioux lose Hunter Bishop to return to juniors. Sioux most likely lose Toews to early defection. Sioux possibly lose Lee, Chorney, Oshie to early defection. Sioux could also lose Finley, Duncan, VandeVelde in long shot early defections. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sioux bring in Jake Marto, Derrick LaPoint on defense for sure. Sioux bring in Evan Trupp, Brad Malone, Brett Hextall at forward for sure. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That means the Sioux lose 5 for sure (including Toews) and bring in 5 which is good. If anyone else should go they can bring in Matt Frattin, and Brett Bruneteau at forward as well as Ben Blood on defense. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm curious what you think the Sioux will do on defense if none of the current D leave early? LaPoint almost a lock in the lineup I would assume for next year. Do they move Genoway up to forward again and play LaPoint with Jones? That would seem the most likely to me. LaPoint is an offensive presence and Jones is a lock down defenseman and that could be a good give and take combo. I can't believe I'm going to do this but here is my ridiculously early mock lines for next year. Duncan-VandeVelde-Oshie Watkins-Trupp-Kozek Forney-Kaip-Malone Genoway-Zajac-Miller Hextall-Martens- Chorney-Lee Finley-Bina LaPoint-Jones Radke-Marto
  15. I'll vote for an option that you didn't list. I like the jerseys because they are lighter, feel better, and have better performance.
  16. Looks like Shattuck could be quite dominant next season if they can keep their juniors there. Sounds like Montpetit might end up in Waterloo next season though.
  17. I wouldn't send a single person on the ice with new skates without heat molding them first.
  18. Johnson was picked No. 3 overall in 2005 behind Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin. hahaha
  19. Yeah thats fine, I know what I know.
  20. Like I said earlier...Hak was pissed when he left. Simple as that.
  21. Hak was pissed when he left, don't see him coming back.
  22. Gleason is a huge pickup. Huge.
  23. It wouldnt preserve a year at UND because your eligibility clock starts ticking as soon as you enter school and doesnt stop wit the exception of a medical or regular red shirt.
