Your probably right. Although the stats he put up in the BC were absolutely sick. I don't know them off the top of my head but I know he had more then Turris. (Although Turris played a lot less games and had a higher pts per game ratio)

A blue chip recruit is a special player. He's a guy where you look and say, that guys going to be an absolute supper star at this level. It's hard to put a number on how many they are year to year because it changes, but I'd say on any given year there are between 4 and 8 blue chip college hockey recruits. The term blue chip is thrown around way to literally now days. Now obviously there are multiple cases of non blue chippers coming in and having better freshman seasons than blue chippers its just the way it goes. I by no means was making fun of Brad E. by saying he's not a blue chipper hes just not one of the top 10 recruits in the nation. In my opinion last years blue chippers: (Keep in mind this is before the season started) Kyle Turris, JVR, Ryan McDonagh, Nick Petrecki, Ian Cole, Kevin Shattenkirk, Brendan Smith, Tyler Bozak, Max Pacioretty In my opinion here are this years blue chippers: David Toews, Aaron Ness, Jordan Schroeder, Jason Gregoire, Vinny Saponari, Jake Gardiner, Zac Dalpe

I don't know why he didn't get a better look from UND whether or not it had to do with his brother we may never know. But I don't like that people are making it sound like he doesn't have the talent to come in and be a player. Jordy Murray is going to be a good college hockey player. There isn't 1 thing that he is awesome in, he just does a lot of things real well. He will step in and be a solid 3rd, 4th liner for Wisconsin next season working his way up the depth chart the longer he's there. He's not going to be a superstar in the WCHA but is going to hopefully (as a Wisconsin fan) be a 4 year player. He's going to be drafted this summer, hes no push over. There has to be reasons why UND didn't give him a better look.

Forney was good enough to play as a freshman at UND. If he doesn't have those injuries he would have been a regular in the lineup the past 2 years. I watched him at the Sioux Falls tryout a few years ago, and he was the best forward on the ice that weekend. That included Notre Dames Ryan Thang among others.

8. Wisconsin -- Assuming they return to Madison, Jamie Micatin and Ryan Macedonia will make up one of the nation's most imposing defensive combos. This should help Shane Connell, who will be a senior in net. Blake Efron and Ben Street will be bigger factors up front, complementing a strong recruiting class. Blake Efron? Jamie Micatin? Ryan Macedonia? Shane Connell? Seriously, did they do this to be funny?

I'm not going to read 7 pages of this garbage but I will say this. I know it's probably only 10% of fans who feel that there should be a coaching change, you 10% are just plain idiots. Hakstol has this program at it's highest level every single season he has been there.

JPL was hung out to dry over, and over, and over again tonight. JPL is the only reason you got out of the regionals in Madison. He was phenomenal last Sunday night against the Badgers. Did he play his best game of the season? No he did not, but on some of those goals he didn't even have a chance.

Red Wing, I'll admit that Genoway has been awful and gave Finley no help on the first two goals. But like a nother poster mentioned, Finely looked like a cone on those 2 plays.

I think the fat lady just sung Bob. This sucks. Genoway and Finley -3 in the first period.

If you think all of those goals are on Lammy then your an idiot. I'll give you the third one that he should have had. But when Finley just lets guys walk right around him then who else do you blame? Genoway? Yeah he deserves half the blame as well for not being defensively responsible and putting Finley on an island when he knows any forward in the nation can skate around Finley with any open ice available.

Even though Finley sucked on both the goals, wouldn't it be nice to see Chay play in the defensive zone once in a while? I still think he's a better forward then defenseman.
