  1. Great! Thanks.. missed Russo, or I got him mixed up with Tobin somehow. Coach Freund mentioned that they are expecting 4 PWOs.... does that indicate that maybe Devan Hunt might not be coming and may have taken the Valpo offer?
  2. So waiting on Dre, Cloyd, Russo and Turner, apart from the PWOs?
  3. As we say good-bye to Loyd, this gives us a year to recruit and develop another tenacious rebounding/scorer.

  5. It's tomorrow.
  6. It's all about "optics". As McFooly is fond of saying.
  7. Mike "the social media machine"McFeely is silent.
  8. Helluva a punter, too, FWIW.
  9. Great Point.... currently we have burners in Georges and maybe Iwarri but they're not of the Dressler or RJ Magill mold.
  10. Watching his defensive plays on Hudl, it looks like he likes to get in there and hit people, which leads me to believe that coaches think he'll fit in nicely as a blocking WR on the edges to clear lanes for Santiago and Co.
  11. He's built for WR. Would have to put on another 30-40 pounds for TE, but I think we are doing OK for TEs especially if Cloyd signs with us. Yes, Wanzek is a nice addition and should make for a good all around athlete with a nose for blocking.
  12. Exciting day! Wednesday can't come soon enough now.
  13. In addition to WR, kid played FS and punted the ball pretty well for the Blue Jays. Plays basketball too. Seen him listed as tall as 6'5" but I think 6'4" is about right. Nice PWO pick up, I assume.
  14. Good get, if so!
  15. Maurice just tweeted a new commit from Indy!!!! Is it Dre?
  16. First post??? Hmmmm..... probably just a BV troll making another rousing debut on here... and you gave 'em what they wanted -- a response. Oh well.
  17. LOL! That's classic !
  18. Maybe he could pull someone out of the handshake line for a little mano o mano ala Ben Blood and Joe Finley.... ah, but that's hockey and they had it coming, right? Or maybe he could flip off the officials from the bench ala Hak..... or maybe he could tear his tie off almost every game and throw it on the court and get T'd up like Coach Brew likes to do.... ah, but it's different when your only two years removed from the Dance and there's a perception of winning, right? Like I've always said one man's embarrassment is another man's pride and joy ... the only difference is their wins-and-losses line.

    2016 Season

Hmmmmm. Looks much bigger in person. A lot of upside there for a walk on. Keep your eye on him.

    2016 Season

Watch for Bryce Blair and Demon Taylor to be difference makers next season on the line. Cox and Aplin, too. But I'm going to wait and see with those two until after spring drills when I can see more snaps at center before I comment further. Aplin especially has the tools just need to see if the mental side is ready. As far as the eye test goes, from what I've seen of Blair in public lately, he looks to have filled out his frame considerably and looks much bigger than his last listed weight of #240. Brandon Anderson really sung his praises from their work together in practice, and I was impressed with what I saw late in fall camp from Blair. Furthermore, this looks to be Miller and Bell's make or break year. Lots of potential there. Time to seize the opportunity and take it!
  22. It was an administrative T because UND's equipment was deficient. The lights on the basket would not light up when the the shot clock or the quarter expired.
  23. How true. Who do we lose in 16-17, barring unforeseen additional losses? Hobaugh and Benton. And as you said everyone gains a year of valuable experience and we add Wheeler to the mix. I am also intrigued by this Billy Brown kid out of Iowa (who may as well RS), but also Keinan Walter at 6'8", need another tall body with talent in the paint. It was disappointing to lose Kraig Shields last year to basically just homesickness. Maybe Walter will be even better than Shields was starting to be toward the end of last season. And then when it's time to say good-bye to Hooker and Baldwin in '17, Crandall and our slew of other talented guards should be ready to lead the team. Exciting!
  24. Clifford went on to be chancellor of the University System for a while, but your point is well taken.
