Mollberg to golladay td. 17 Yrds up the middle.

I haven't followed this spring that closely, but I guess I'm either:
A) Upset that Mollberg hasn't really pulled away in the QB competition from Bartels
B) Thrilled that Bartels is at the level of Mollberg and will be pushing him for time this next season.
Which one is it?
Bartles can flat out play. And competition is a good thing.

Even jake Hanson is taller and so much stronger and more athletic.
That's been my assessment of him too. Tons more confidence, too. It be will fun when we get Sam Rids and Palandech on campus in August to see how they all look.

Looking like him like he was standing on a New York City phone book with a stronger arm and 50 extra pounds?
LOL! Yeah, they definitely have the look. The rest should follow.

Just watched the promo for the spring game and it made me realize how much we will miss Hanson and Hendrickson at qb. I hope that whoever wins the job can have a little of Hansons poise in the pocket.
I had the same thought. Right now, all three are looking more like Joey Bradley. It's still early, though.

Really? MSNBC jumping all over the 'they came here to hurt people' comment by insinuating that the two came from somewhere else in the US to Boston...unbelievable.
So did Fox News. Silly media. I wonder which one copied the other because they didn't want to get left too far behind. CNN got lambasted earlier for its overzealous "fictionalized" reporting of rumored events that actually hadn't happened. Ideologies aside, they're all incompetent and piss poor at reporting verified facts when it comes to big, high-interest news stories. And, apart from the senseless deaths from the bombings, that is what is truly sad.

No problem, all! I enjoy it when I can do it. I won't be able to see the boys play again until the spring game on Saturday. Besides I think the coaches need a break from wondering who that strange spy is on the sidelines always pulling out papers (spring prospectus roster) from his pocket and recording stuff!

Not a whole lot to add from the play-by-play earlier today.
A couple of additional quick thoughts, though:
Coach K has got the D buzzing this spring. There seems to be a sense of urgency that I didn't see last year.
Coach Luke gave the offense a mild chewing after the practice -- nothing major -- but something to the effect that they better start bringing it every practice because a display like what took place Wednesday ain't gonna cut it.
In hindsight, it did appear that the offense was kinda just going through the motions. That combined with the new stuff the QBs got thrown at them made for a lackluster day. QBs didn't look too bad until they were put in skelly and live drills. Once they were forced to make their reads quicker and execute, their success diminished.
Early in practice, Jake Hanson connected with R. Bridges on a perfect bomb of 50 yards plus.
Townsend had a case of the droppsies today, uncharacteristic for him.
Shaugs looked really good at RB again.

Is this a case of bad day for the o or better d as they open up the defensive playbook more?
I think it's a combo of both, but clearly the D's ego is smarting from last year so they know they've got something to prove.
I anticipate the offense will rebound and push back hard after today.

Javen Butler just obliterated Tanner Vasedahl near the sideline for the last play of live drills. The entire D erupts with high fives whoops and hollers'
