I agree wholeheartedly Whistler. I think Chorney, Duncs and TJ stayings changes the dynamic. Now Jon is weighing staying here with his homeboys against going to get the money that will be there (and the exact same amount!) whether he goes now or a year from now. I'm moving JT staying into the "maybe" column; it's been in the "color him gone" ledger for months.

I don't mean to go all sentimental here, but aren't the announcements these three (and with luck four or five) young men have made this week marvelous indications of the type of people Hak et al have recruited?

All this speculation is intriguing, and makes for great conversation, but looking at the projected line combos here makes me realize what huge holes Porter and Fabian are leaving! Wow! Big changes.

If this is, indeed, true, I feel badly for Brian, and I am sad that Fighting Sioux "fans" have driven a wonderful young man out of college hockey. I'll not get back on my soapbox about Brian; you all know I think the world of him as a player and as a person. I am horrified, however, if he leaves because of the "fans".

aleah is very connected in this instance. She may not know for sure; heck TJ might not even know for sure. But there is only one other person on this board who has such a connection.

A buncha thoughts: 1. This was a great Fighting Sioux team. They provided me a lot of fun this season. 2. I don't believe BC was the "better team" last night; they did, however, deserve to win the game. They put on as aggressive a forecheck as I've seen all year, and it kept the Sioux bottled up almost the entire second period. My hat is off to the Eagles for their strategy and their execution. 3. The officiating was a little ticky-tack, but that went both ways. 4. I don't really think the Sioux lost their composure late in the game. I think, instead, that they were flat out tired, and got caught out of position and flat of foot. It takes a lot of effort to battle through the forecheck BC had in place, and it showed. 5. Giving up 20 shots in the second was brutal. The Sioux were lucky to have withstood that barrage. Lamoureux
