My player of the game is Evan Trupp. Dude was hustling all night long, getting the be-jeepers beaten out of him, but driving to the net constantly. I'd hoped for this player to emerge before this, but I'll be happy to see Trupp show his promise with a bunch of points this season.

From a distance the suit he had on the day I chatted with him did appear "natty"; but upon closer inspection it was clearly some off-the-rack dreck he picked up at Men's Warehouse or some similar discounter. Or, more likely, the boy's department.

I spent a little time visiting with George at the Final Five last year. His suit wasn't that special.

I think this is the most likely outcome.

They should make a movie out of Robbie...

Ahh, Dave... Yes. Perhaps the smartest man I've ever met. He was recruited by some men in suits with sunglasses to go to work for an unnamed "company". I haven't seen him since we were at a LA Kings game in '84.

It would've been to your left, toward the zamboni exit/entrance. I wish my memory was not so foggy (about this and other things from that era ). You would've seen me right above the visitor's box when you worked the penalty box. Somehow a seat was always available to me. I always wore a referee's shirt.
