That is true, but no matter what, you are going to lose faceoffs, so it's a matter of what you do after you lose them, and hope that someone doesn't rip the perfect shot, or get lucky with a deflection. Bottom line is that if they score off a faceoff people will say it was a huge problem, if they don't, not quite as much.

Exactly. Sometimes I think the perception doesn't meet reality. Even when the numbers have been good in the past on the power play and other things, we still get people saying how bad it is.

They did have re entry at the X, only they stamped your hand and required your ticket. There was a short wait, but nothing like the gong show at the Target Center. You shouldn't have to work on things like opening the doors when they are supposed to open.

So, I thought the tickets I got through the Fighting Sioux Club were Standing Room tickets at the Club level. Are they actually seats?

Wouldn't mind going somewhere that appreciated the fans rather than thinking they are a hassle. The unfriendly disposition of many of the ushers and others I met, just rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe I just ran into every bad apple, but you would think they would have staff with a friendly manner, even when they have to do things that may not sit well with the fan. It wasn't always a matter of what the staff said, but the manner and tone in which they said it.

So now that the tournament is over, we see that the seats in the middle were not sold out, yet they wouldn't sell them to people who wanted to buy them. How many people that checked and thought they were sold out decided not to go? The whole Target Center operation is run very unprofessionally.

Just surprised at how unprofessional the Target Center was run this past weekend, and how some of the staff seemed rude to some patrons. This in my opinion is in direct contrast to how the Ralph is run.

Was just about to say nobody from Minneapolis without ties to Grand Forks would have a clue that Rough Riders is the high school nickname, and you confirmed it. Most of the fan base doesn't live in Grand Forks, and even the ones that do can figure out pretty fast which one is being brought up.

So you're saying that Saskatchewan shouldn't have that nickname. Can't believe some people name their schools Washington or Lincoln, when they don't have any ties to North Dakota. It is a nickname, not a life and death matter, and the image of a cowboy type figure certainly ties to North Dakota more than some nicknames tie to other regions.

What's funny is you usually don't know what you've got until it is gone. All of us knew what we had with the WCHA and the WCHA Final Five, yet somehow they couldn't find a way to keep that intact. I would call it Karma for Barry Alvarez and Wisconsin this year but he doesn't give a rip about hockey anyway.
