i thought 2 weeks ago, CC was one of the better teams i've seen....? When i saw UND vs. the Dogs early in season, I thought they were brutal. couldn't complete 2 passes. go figure

I've decided to come back since the Wild have been begging me for years to join the organization. Due to GM Doug R., the franchise has been run into the ground, thus no good players in their AHL affiliate, the Aeros. (Or the big club, for that matter) I will come in and give it 110%, leave it all out on the ice, lead by example, take it one day at a time, and hopefully put the puck in the net. as you know, it's not my first rodeo and god-willing, we'll bring the AHL Cup home.

I think VV has made a progression like other juniors, which include Greene, Stafford, and Zajac. VV, for his position, can dominate short spurts of college games and players of that caliber can compete at the next level. Be it next year or three, those guys get a shot in the NHL. His first or second shift on Saturday, he won a battle on the wall, walked the puck around the right dot, and got a clean shot down the slot. He was involved in many scoring chances around the net which plays into the next level. VV will have to continue this progression to be a factor in the NHL. The bonus is UND's style of play gives him a head start as almost all former Sioux forwards in the NHL are very good at winning wall battles which is a key to playing in the league. i.e. Parise/Oshie/Toews/Zajac/Blake etc..

The Brad Miller Time segment alone puts him in the top 3 for MVP. Duncan is the MVP, hands down.

agreed on both. Miller is not half as effective as a forward, he's shown that his first 3 seasons. We don't need 2 freshmen D in for this series. Take your chances with Davidson and roll 4 lines and 6 Defense. That's what has made this team successful this year.

Forney was a Mr.Hockey finalist which is what brought the expectations and hype with his arrival at UND. The fans never saw what he could do because he was injured most of the time. Ideally, he would've played in the USHL right out of high school.

I've seen Mattson play a few times this year in person and he will become a favorite of Sioux fans. I like the fact that he has over double the amount of assists to goals. very unselfish player that does all the little things that make good players great.

Bad news for Sioux fans in Mpls. I talked to Cheese @ Senser's and they will not be showing the games this weekend. It was too much work for John to move the satellite to pick up this feed. He's performed a lot of miracles thru the years by getting games on but not this time. The only hope would be if FSSN picks up the feed but by reading this thread that doesn't seem possible either. Can you say webcast? Go Sioux!
