Will Bucky go Gillooly on Joe...?
-
Radke makes that 4th line go!!!!! Keep him in the lineup!!!!!
-
throw all the fowards names in a hat a pull out the lines. i don't think the lines are working right now so change it up!!!
-
"look at Goligoski, he comes down slot and takes the shot then goes on a dream skate. he doesn't get back and the Sioux make the Gophers pay!"
-
At least we've got that cleared up, GG33. Good point.

Who would win in a hockey fight? Bucky or Moldie?

Bickel is a freakin' hack. I don't get how all the UM fans and broadcasters think he's such a tough guy. i haven't seen one situation that would back that up. i do know when things happen he tends slap opposing players in the head when the ref is holding the guy and he likes to chirp about "class" when he's hiding behind an assistant coach. I'd take Dimarchi any day, at least he backed up his cheap shots. Louie went as far to say, "Bickel, this kid is going to be a stud!" Hillarious.

I have to agree with you on Duncan and the notion that his stock will never be higher. He's a good college player who can shoot the puck and had a great year playing on a great line. the other two players helped him achieve the award last year no doubt. Duncan has publicly stated that opinion. He has been very consistent this year imo but not as dynamic for sure. However, we do have a difference of opinion on Oshie's role in all of this. Do you think Duncan would have better stats this year if the third forward on the line was of TJ's caliber? They both would. I think you're selling Oshie short by your last statement and think he'll have a pretty decent career in the NHL in his own right. Too bad Chicago didn't take Oshie instead of Skille in the 2005 draft. - the t.k.o. line. T.owes K.ane O.shie has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

I'm looking for 2 tickets for the Thursday play-in game. They are for a friend who's a good friend of the Sioux community down in the Twin Cities. If you've ever watched a Sioux game at Senser's, he's the reason why they're on the tube there. thanks Scott

he doesn't dominate this year in the WCHA. why would moving on now help him? I think most of his 16 goals this year are the product of his linemates.
-
imo, i'd keep Kozek on the first line for the same reasons OTH listed. Anyone notice Finley up in front of the net on the PP last night? Reminds me of when they had Smaby do that in the Regional in '06. I believe Smaby scored a PP garbage goal. Something to keep an eye on this weekend with Joe. Obviously, the goalie's not going to be able to see around the guy. also, interesting to move Marto this late in the season. felt bad for Radke having to sit in the last home game.

Lou Nanne on Bareiro today... Lou said he tells tDon he should keep recruiting kids after they make a verbal to another school if it's a player he really wants. louie explained that unlike basketball, football, etc.., college hockey coaches don't recruit a player after he verbally commits. Louie also states that these kids all commit so early in life that there's no reason that Minnnesota shouldn't continue to recruit that player in case he changes his mind later. I can just see the crying that would be going on here in the cities if a player de-commited from the Gophers and went to another school. Be careful what you wish for, Louie!

at least you took the "this is how you riot like an idiot when your team wins their first title in 25 years" class.
-
lighten up francis.
-
now, you're an authority on Sioux student tickets too?
-
does it make you feel better to tear down other people's dreams....?

I'll take Dayne any day. It would mean that Eddie would be around GF more often and that's not a bad thing for the program.
-
although, Briere is a minus -22 on the year.
-
Vanek's numbers last year were inflated because of Buffalo's top line with Briere, etc... Vanek was on the second line and things have changed since they lost 3-4 top end guys from last year. this year he's drawing the oppositions #1 defensive pair.

I predict: Sioux 4-2 VandeVelde Oshie Duncan Chorney *Marto with 2 assists * JPL with 21 saves We need to jump on them early like last night and put a few away.
