Staff needs to take a closer look at what talent are we evaluating on offense. I’ve seen Isaiah Smith play two full games now and he has been our best offensive player in both. Do we beat NDSU and/or USD if he gets a bulk of Skonkas carries and we find a different way to use Luke. Smith and Weah in the backfield would be hard to defend with how well Smith runs and catches the ball.

Isaiah Smith is the best player in this game right now.

Got conservative and it cost this team. If the offense does nothing here it’s over.

Terrible tackling, poor fit ups on defense, penalties on offense. Same !@#$ as the last two weeks.

I think there is much more talent on this roster than when this staff got here. The replacement would probably be pretty happy with what he inherited.

Tough to argue after how the offense has looked the last couple days. Certainly missing something. Looked flat today.

Got outplayed, our coached and played with zero emotion.

Hidden stat in that comparison is our QB has taken a couple sacks that moved us out of FG range. Frustrating game today.

This. I’d bring pressure every 3rd down against us. Our WR aren’t getting behind you, our QB is not throwing it downfield or breaking a tackle.

Really want to see how this team responds today. I think the leadership is there. We will find out.

The administration really needs to work on getting a trophy back for this game.

My one take away from last year vs the Yotes was they had a real physical RB that was really talented. We need to bottle him up again. Legit talent.

I agree. That is a possession that teams like NDSU get a field goal and just change the energy if a game right before halftime. They have done that for years. It was another missed opportunity on Saturday during that game.

Looking forward to how this team responds come Saturday. Not an easy place to play and a USD team that is improved over last year. Can we be as physical as Saturday? Will the offense and namely running game show up?

After watching that game yesterday I hope he will enjoy his time being a blocking WR.
