Coming off a buy I expect the team to be focused but with a huge matchup against EWU the following week and a SUU team hungry for a win it could be an interssting week. Remember the trip for the MBB team to Utah last season.
-
That was about the third time I heard Jimbo say that in an interview the last few weeks. I thought coach, if you need to keep saying it, it's probably not true. That was funny.
-
I feel good about how the remaining schedule plays out. We could get EWU at the right time and also have Weber and NAU at home. Besides EWU those will be the most challenging games.
-
Its not like the general public is waiting in line for tickets either. Don't point fingers at the students only.
-
I agree with this. There are open seats in the 40 yard line, same side. Once attendance increases enough that those sections are full, the discussion can be had with the students. Perhaps give the students the lower section on the 50 and other 40 yard line and the general public the upper. Now is not the time to do anything that could push students away.

Welcome them all. I think Grady from New Town is a solid player.
-
I wouldn't want to be the coach making this decision. Joe has improved as the year had gone on. Ryan seems to make better pre snap reads. Joe was moving the ball yesterday. Ryan put some life into that building when it needed it. Tough call.

It's not FU winning. It is last year people got tired of driving to see games over by halftime. Those fans need to see consistent efforts like the last few weeks before they start making the trips again.
-
No we have to keep winning. Our attendance has nothing to do with FU.

He was wearing his FU football jersey. Following the example set for the student body.

Is evading police officers a course offered in Fargo?

I see Freiji as a UND commit. She will be a very good player for whoever lands her.

The goal needs to be to make the conference tournament and anything can happen from there. I really think this team will be playing its best basketball at the end of the year. I'm confident, but not sure that it will be good enough to win that tournament. Its going to be a lot of fun to watch them come together.

Lots of "ifs", I'm sure Montana found some of those as well. The team needs to keep playing hard and improving every day.
-
If he plays with the intensity of his brother or cousin (not sure on relation), I am all for finding a way to get him on the team.
-
Solid commitment. Welcome to the program. Next years class looks fairly solid.

I am very glad the running back they had for the last few years who was the Maryland transfer is gone. He was a hell of a back. I think this is one game where the offense surprises us and carries the defense a little. Game is a little closer than we like, but its a win. UND- 27 PSU- 24

No one blamed the kid directly but it was a factor in the game. He has been really solid for us this year and I am not dumb enough to think he was going to bury every kick this year. Everything is a learning experience and this will be no different. However, the kick has to have a chance. You may have been bad your first year at work but your boss still expects you to do the basics correctly.

Get the game winning field goal higher than 4 feet off the ground.

The students that were at the game this past weekend vs. Montana were awesome. When they started chanting the kickers last name (Sully) during the timeouts before the final field goal, I was laughing. I sit right next to their section and they did not give that kid a break after the first missed FG. That is the reason I do not want to move that section. I'm hoping with the return of an exciting defense and a competitive team, attendance comes back (throughout the entire stadium). The ones who were there last week seemed to be enjoying themselves.

All the best to Kyle on a speedy recovery.

If we are playing extremely hypothetical- if UND runs the table, where does 6-2 finish in the conference race? I do agree with an earlier post that we lose a game or two on the road. Finish 6-6.
