With the muffed punt, Sioux were -4 in turnovers. Few teams can ever win with that statistic.

Congratulations to NDSU on their long-belated BSA announcement. But wow. This thread must have caused you a huge amount of psychological drama. Truly, I'm glad you are feeling better. For your own health, don't be looking at the news next week when UND has it's homecoming announcement.

Turnovers continue to be a key stat: Idaho -4 (5) NIU +1 (1) NEOK +2 (0) NW St +1 (0) Need to continue in the "+" column vs USD. No fumbles lost in last 3 games and only one fumble Landry only 1 INT in last 70 attempts We need a breakout game from the front seven on defense.

That School of Business design had been released before the economic downturn in 2008. It might finally have the money now or there might be entirely different plans (like a move downtown). JLG has also released designs that never came to fruition (like Aerospace dorm for training pilots). Considering that the announcement is coming from the UND Foundation, that's highly unlikely. Hopefully, though, the result would help in that effort.

If the blog has just a slight insight into what is really transpiring in athletic departments, there could be some rather significant changes to the hockey landscape. Highly doubt most of this, but there is no way that "name" schools outside our region would align themselves with non-Division I Minnesota schools. If UND, Denver, Notre Dame, and Miami started a new conference, any internal hockey efforts at schools like Iowa State or N Illinois would gather some momentum. Kind of surprised that BP wasn't the root cause of the hockey blowout!

That makes sense. The new Grand Forks Wellness Center will be huge and would include six indoor tennis courts according to those plans.
-
That would cost millions. If they do that, they may as well add men's tennis, which BTW is required for the Big Sky.

At a school like Pike, there really is no shame in being cut as a Freshman. Gentry showed a lot of drive and character to go back and be competitive.

What the BTN shows in different states is not identical. The BTN has the capability to deliver Penn State games to Pennsylvania and Minnesota games to Minnesota, etc, with the most "national" game to non-Big Ten states.

The presumption is that Gopher hockey will be allowed to remain on Fox Sports North. But in reality, Big Ten has the right to force Gopher games to the Big Ten Network, which means more subscription and advertising $'s to the Big Ten. The bright side of that is Fox Sports North could look at a contract with UND and/or the rest of the WCHA.

Preliminary opinion from NCAA on UND/NDSU combining

NDSU's leadership has shown that it is rife with corruption. Cut all the overhead at NDSU by eliminating those positions and have that school down south administered from Twamley!! -
This has got to be one of the most delusional thoughts I've ever read:

StarTribune: Two more Big Ten schools?
-
That's part of it, but a bigger reason is that with one Alaska school in both conferences, all CCHA and WCHA schools who play in Alaska are allowed to play two extra games - which in can add a lot of cash to certain schools . Since the exemption is only for two games - and not for four games - in hockey it is all cost with no benefit to have two rather than one Alaska school in the same conference. Since there is only one UAA-UND series this year and it is at the Ralph, notice that UND is playing in the Alaska tournament to gain two more games.

Walking distance from UND to Alerus&Ralph
star2city replied to JESUS,family, rutgers's topic in Community
JFR: Depending on the what part of campus, the Alerus is 1/2 mile to almost 2 miles. UND sponsors free buses that take fans to the Alerus from the Chester Fritz auditorium parking lot. Alerus charges to park per car (like $5), but it takes time to empty the lot after the game. There isn't street parking near the Alerus unless you go for a long hike. It's two miles between the Alerus and Engelstad, as Engelstad is on the opposite side of the campus. There is street parking available near the Ralph, but again you might have a hike. All of the Ralph lots are reserved for season ticket holders, but there are $5 University lots available within a 0..5 mile.
