Couldn't agree more - we have gone into many a tourney and just needed our goalie to play to his season average only to have him crap the bed. Zane for example. Poor goalie play in tournaments has been a hallmark of our title drought.

UND and its fans have an incredible tolerance for mediocrity for everything but Mens Hockey. Think of where the football program would be, for example, if Muss was canned after the Sioux Falls fiasco. Jones has had 10 years to show us what he can do. How much longer should we wait?

A great effort by the guys If Jones had given us this team 5 years ago I would be firmly in his camp. Instead he is now in his 10th year and gave us 4 years of the most frustrating basketball I have ever seen. Not sure if this keeps his job. Finally, Jones is either the unluckiest human alive or he couldn't coach the final two minutes to save his butt.

For what this program is costing, we should demand better. Sure seems like we have seen the top of an Idaski season. Over and over.

Couldn't agree more - I see no evidence of this happening however. The latest change from the Alerus is not turning out the lights. We need a better home - one that values us. What's more, they act like there is absolutely no pressure to make any changes.

I'm a big fan of Blais, but I am beginning to despise Omaha - their play is usually on the edge where chippy meets cheap and their fans are obnoxious and think they are superior without any factual basis. A real nice road sweep during gut check time.

Johnson has shown an absolute inability to control his idiot impulses. No matter what he brings to the table or face off circle it is time for him to sit.

Not on the ledge - just saying that after that fiasco in Denver, I had hoped for this team to look more like they did the first half of the year. In my opinion they have some work to do to get ready for the tournaments. I like our team too this year, but we are not playing at our best lately.

I hope we signs of this group playing better as a team now towards the end of the season. Too much fancy passing from the top line and not much contribution from others. We have some work to do in order to hang any banner.

Totally agree - in addition, if we don't have a few more guys that can put the puck in the net it may be a short tournament season.

Just got back from the game and Wow - for many reasons Wow - what a crappy game for the most part - no flow, and if our first line is shut down we got nothin Wow are we impressed with our passing ability from the first half and seek to improve it by getting even fancier - just make the basic passes please Wow - This is not a championship team of any kind for the last 3 games Wow - is Luke Johnson playing with a wooden head or what? The guy never learns Wow - so glad to get a win out of this mess.

I feel a little like Knute Rockne must have when he told a Notre Dame team at half time "why don't you go out and hit them with your press clippings". Time to bear down.

So, by your theory of "ifs", the Vikings are 6 time almost Super Bowl Champs. The sad fact is that this is not the only game that has come down to the wire where we had last shot and got of a low percentage/crappy shot.

Just saw the final shot on the sports. What the actual hell? - This is what we come up with after a time out. As someone who grew up watching Dave Gunther, Jones drives me absolutely nuts.
